Hulu's TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS (2023): Teen Threesome and Schoolgirl Lipstick Lesbians

Here’s IMDb’s (lax) synopsis of Hulu’s Tiny Beautiful Things (2023):

[Tiny Beautiful Things] [f]ollows a woman who reluctantly becomes Dear Sugar; an anonymous and revered advice columnist, even when her own life is falling apart.

The synopsis is lax, because it left out the teen threesome subplot, which was, very interestingly, not only shown in the trailer, it was shown in the preview of episode 01 as well, but the teen threesome didn’t happen until episode 02.

And it was implied in the trailer and in the introduction to episode 01 that Clare (Kathryn Hahn) and her husband Danny had a threesome with Rae - their 16-year-old daughter, but the actual (unedited) conversation didn’t take place until episode 03.

Clare, "A threesome is a big leap. Maybe you were subconsciously worried about our little threesome."

Rae, "What?"

Clare, "Me and you and dad."

Rae, "Ew!"

And in the trailer and introduction to episode 01, Rae shared with her mother that Bethany, the other private schoolgirl in the threesome, had public anal sex on a greyhound bus.

Rae, “Bethany had anal sex on a greyhound going to Reno!”

Clare, “What?

Rae, “Yeah.”

Clare, “Why would she wanna take a bus to Reno?”

However, the (unedited) conversation didn’t take place until episode 04. (Talk about using the allure of nymphets to market a streaming series.)

In episode 02, after Clare came home from work early and discovered her 16-year-old daughter having a threesome, Clare asked Bethany, “Do your parents know? Should I just give ‘em a quick call?” Bethany replied, with her white bra showing under her schoolgirl uniform, that her parents, “[...] support sexual exploration.”

Now here’s the unedited dialogue about the teen threesome that took place in episode 03.

Clare, “I know that you probably have had some twosomes before.”

Rae, “Mom!”

Clare, “I think a threesome is a big leap; so, I was wondering if maybe you were subconsciously worried about our little threesome.”

Rae, “What?”

Clare, “Me and you and dad.”

As you see, Clare assumed that Rae had had teen sex a number of times before the threesome; so, it’s surprising that Clare assumed that the threesome was organized by Bethany - whose parents were described as “rich and cosmopolitan”, but Bethany, whom goes by Montana, shared that the teen orgy was Rae’s idea.

Clare, “What made you think it was a good idea to orchestrate an orgy in me and my husband’s bedroom?”

Bethany\Montana, “That was Rae’s idea.”

And Bethany\Montana shared with Clare that Rae was “completely obsessed” and in love with Bethany\Montana. That’s correct. Tiny Beautiful Things has a teen lipstick lesbian slash schoolgirl subplot, which didn’t take place until episode 06, but surprisingly it wasn’t previewed in the trailer or in the introduction of episode 01.

Interestingly, Clare said that she knew how to have a proper threesome and opined that her daughter’s teen threesome was “pathetic” and referred to it as “little pussy-ass shit”.

Bethany, “Maybe you weren’t aware that she’s completely obsessed with me […] I can’t help that she’s in love with me.”

Clare, “And I know how to have a threesome. Not that pathetic little pussy-ass shit. […] thinking everyone wants to fuck you because you have great hair?”

In episode 04, Rae posted a video on social media of her seductively ingesting a large cucumber, which caused Clare to exclaim, “What the fuck!” In episode 04, the director took the opportunity to show Rea in her striped panties. And in episode 04, the conversation about Bethany having anal sex on greyhound bus took place, which I’ll share again to emphasize that Clare was unfazed by public teen anal sex.

Rae, “Bethany had anal sex on a greyhound going to Reno!”

Clare, “What?

Rae, “Yeah.”

Clare, “Why would she wanna take a bus to Reno?”

In episode 06, shortly after Bethany\Montana complained to Rae that she was fourth on her private school’s “Most Fuckable Girls’ List” (“Fucking fourth!”), Rae shared with Bethany\Montana that she was not a virgin, because she had sex with Stef Johnson and Sofia Serrano - respectively. And Rae related that she masturbates. (“I have a body, and I know what feels good, so”)

Consequently, upon learning that Rae’s parents were on a date night, Bethany\Montana suggested that they go back to Rae’s house, but Rae said suggestively that Bethany\Montana would have to remove her nail extensions before they had teen lipstick lesbian sex, which they proceeded to have until they were interrupted by the door bell.

Tiny Beautiful Things (2023) received a 90% AVERAGE TOMATOMETER and a 85% AVERAGE AUDIENCE SCORE. Angie Han of the Hollywood Reporter opined:

True to its name, Tiny Beautiful Things is sensitive to the details. The series has a knack for zeroing in on moments too strange or specific to feel like anything but lived experience.

Interestingly, Tiny Beautiful Things is loosely based on Cheryl Strayed’s book, but there doesn’t appear to be a Rae or Bethany\Montana in the book. Grace Wehniainen wrote in her Bustle piece “Is Tiny Beautiful Things Based On A True Story? (April 7, 2023)

As is the case with most adaptations, not every detail is the same on page and screen. Names are changed, and Clare’s life isn’t exactly like Strayed’s. In the show, for example, she’s the mom to a teenager, while Strayed’s actual kids were still pretty young [...]

The last time we wrote about Kathryn Hahn was when she starred in Amazon’s I Love Dick (2016) where she played Chris whom, in the spirit of Nancy Friday's My Secret Garden: Women’s Sexual Fantasies and Tavi Gevinson's Rookie, (over) shared:

"Dear Dick, I've been horny since I was six. I used to press my crotch into the belly of my stuffed Rhino [...] I'd love to hump him in front of our sitter Karen Harris. I used to say that Rhino was hungry and that I needed to feed him [...] In high school, I wanted to fuck anybody - male or female."

Lastly, Tiny Beautiful Things shared executive producers with Big Little Lies (2017) where 16-year-old Abigail, to raise money for Amnesty International, auctioned off her virginity - online.

KEEP THIS BETWEEN US (2022): High School Student-Teacher Sexual Affair(s)

The fascinating thing about age-gap memoirs and documentaries is that they’re typically filled with (revealing) contractions. Keep This Between Us (2022), a Freeform/Hulu documentary, is no different. And IMDb’s synopsis is leading. “Follow's one woman's journey [i.e., Cheryl Nichols] as she reexamines her past relationship with a trusted teacher [i.e., Jason Meyers].” [Emphasis added]

Very interestingly, in the first episode of the four part series, Cheryl admitted that she was at fault, but not “totally”, for having an age-gap affair with her married high school teacher.

“I have something to get over that wasn’t totally my fault. Remembering that I was just this person for years that was just constantly focusing all of their energy on this, you know, one person and trying to give all their love and all of their support to this one person. I don’t really know what the difference is between having that with a guy who was your teacher in high school and who is much older than you, and having that with, you know, boyfriends your own age, because I didn’t really have that.”

But minutes later, in the, seemingly, first contradiction, Cheryl said that she did not have a share in the responsibility for the illicit affair, because, when the affair began, she was a 16-year-old “child”.

“For so many years, I did not even have the language to speak about this. I didn’t have the words. I started to recognize that I wasn’t responsible for this, that I was a child. I didn’t think that being a 16-year-old person was a child [...]”

However, Cheryl admitted that at 16, she was old enough to be obsessed and in love - with her married teacher. So much so that the affair continued after she went to college at University of Utah.

“Like, I fell in love with my teacher when I was 16. And then I went to college and I was still with this guy.”

However, Cheryl didn’t live on campus. Shockingly, she lived off campus with her teacher and his wife! We learned in episode 3 that she told her parents, “I don’t need to live in the dorms, I can live, you know, in the basement of the theater teacher [i.e., her teacher’s wife].”

Why did Cheryl move in with her (former) high school teacher? Cheryl said, “[...] I felt like I owed it to him to at least show up and give the relationship a try and that kind of meant without conditions.” Consequently, Cheryl lost her virginity to her married roommate - in the basement. And subsequently, she wrote in her journal: “[...] I know in my heart that he loves me.”

Cheryl posited that she was trapped and groomed into the student-teacher affair and elaborated on how her teacher did it, which was that he “implanted” things in her head:

  • Cheryl’s teacher implanted in her head that she was intelligent
  • Cheryl’s teacher implanted in her head that she possessed a “special thing”
  • Cheryl’s teacher constantly reminded her of that “special thing” (e.g., You're so full of energy. You’re so alive.)
  • Cheryl’s teacher “turned his light on” her (e.g., through poetry) and consequently validated her

“I never had anybody care that I was intelligent before. He was really great at finding the special thing about a person and constantly reminding them that that made them special. When he turned his light on me, I felt like I was suddenly, not just seen, but I was validated by this person who everybody believed was great. I just didn’t know that it was gonna be a trap.”

Rhetorical questions:

Could any teacher use these techniques to initiate an illicit affair with a schoolgirl? In other words, by using these implanting techniques, could even your most charmless and (subjectively) unattractive teacher miraculously become charming and attractive by, say, telling a schoolgirl that she’s intelligent.

Or does the teacher have to be attractive? In other words, does implanting only work if the schoolgirl is already attracted to the teacher? Wait, but feminists and teen boys would argue that it’s utterly impossible for a schoolgirl to be organically attracted to any teacher.

In addition, we learned in episode 1 that, feeling validated and excited, Cheryl would visit her teacher’s classroom after school - a lot. And there would be flirting.

“I would get excited about going into his class after school.”

“I spent a lot of time in his classroom going to poetry and we started getting really close. Like there would be these flirtatious moments [...]”

Interestingly, out of all the implanting techniques Cheryl’s teacher used, it was his use of poetry that made Cheryl “push everything to the side” and make her affair with her teacher her “priority”.

“It was over for me after that poem [“Frustration”], like, I was done. It doesn’t matter what this costs me, I will be part of this relationship.”

But later Cheryl said that the affair was not consensual: “It was not a consensual relationship - it was like I was being completely taken advantage of.” #confused

Anyway, after being touched by the poem, 16-year-old Cheryl went to her teacher’s house with some friends. While watching a movie, Cheryl’s friends left, one-by-one, but she stayed, and after her teacher’s wife left the room, Cheryl and her teacher kissed - for the first time.

It turns out that Cheryl's burgeoning affair with her teacher was no secret. For example, Josh Pierson, Cheryl’s male friend from school, shared that he knew that Cheryl and their teacher were “hanging out and in a relationship”. Katie Hall, another former classmate, shared that she knew at the time that the relationship was “inappropriate in the sense that they were too close - that it made everybody uncomfortable.”

Interestingly, towards the beginning of episode 2, Cheryl admitted that she knew that (some of) her classmates were aware of her student-teacher affair, but, interestingly, she placed (some of) the blame on them for the illicit affair. And she wanted them to take accountability? “A lot of people who looked the other way then still refuse to take accountability for their actions now.” Wait, what?

But Kat Salerno said that after she confronted Cherly about the affair, “She denied it. Straight away, denied it.” Cheryl retorted, “People are blowing it out of proportion.” Even Though, Kat confronted Cheryl about the affair, Cheryl claimed in episode 3, “I didn’t have any friends who were able to say, ‘This is weird, Cheryl. This is weird. This is not normal.”

Cheryl said that, “For years I had convinced myself that I was making this choice to be with him, that I was the one that needed to accept the consequences. But now, there’s no doubt in my mind that he was in control of this.” And remember when Cheryl said that, “It was not a consensual relationship - it was like I was being completely taken advantage of.”

Well, Brandi Preas, another former classmate, shared that it appeared that Cheryl was not being taken advantage of, because it appeared that it was Cheryl who was influential over her teacher, that it was Cheryl, à la Kathryn Merteuil in Cruel Intentions 2, who was “calling the shots'' in the age-gap affair, and that Cheryl was “just so in love” with her teacher. And Daniel Penalloza said that some of their classmates opined that, “Cheryl was looking for attention.”

Brandi Preas, “I had issues with, you know, wanting to come forward because my anger towards you was awful. I hated you. I wanted nothing to do with you. I blamed you [...] I saw your attachment to each other. I could see how he was favoring you. We felt like you never got bad directions. You always got the part. Most people assumed you had the influence over him. And you were calling the shots in a lot of ways [...] I mean. If I were to act it out, I’d be like, ‘She’s just so in love with him. It’s gross.’

Kat Salerno, another former classmate, erroneously said that their classmates blamed Cheryl for the affair, “[...] because women get blamed for man’s actions all the time.” This is obviously not true - especially as it relates to student-teacher affairs as teachers are, almost always, (openly) blamed.

In yet another seeming contradiction, after Cheryl admitted that “But of course, all of the kids in school were talking about it [i.e., her student-teacher affair],” Cheryl shared an old journal entry where she wrote that the affair made her “happy” but that the “suspicious minds” on campus made her sad and weak, but they were trying to ruin the “fun” she was having with her teacher, that she was happy, and that the only way to be happy was through her age-gap affair.

And it appears that Cheryl wasn’t the only student having an affair with a teacher, because Cheryl shared, “Like, people [i.e., her schoolmates] would joke about students having sex with their teachers like it was funny.”

Cheryl’s journal entry:

“It is hard to decipher my current feeling. I’m happy because of the events that have taken place - yet sad that some have too. Suspicious minds make me weak. They sit in their houses with picket fences and laugh at me. I just get so angry. Why do they always ruin our fun? I just want to be happy. I just want to keep the smile. The only way I can is through him.”

Surprisingly, Cheryl related that she considered her teacher her boyfriend and that she was convinced that he loved her because, for their love, he was willing to get fired.

“I just wanted to be with him. I wanted to feel, in those little concentrated periods of time, that I was with my boyfriend. Like, I saw him as my boyfriend. And in my mind, he was the one who had everything on the line. He was risking his entire life for me. It made me feel so special. It made me feel so important to know that if somebody found out about us, like, he could get fired. Why would he do that unless he loved me?”

Unsurprisingly, word of Cheryl’s affair with her teacher reached the principal and the counselor. After the principal asked Cheryl, “Are you involved in a sexual relationship with the teacher?” Cheryl replied, “No.” But then Cheryl blamed the school’s administration for sliding the affair “right under the rug”! However, it’s not surprising that Cheryl denied the affair, because she opined that the principal and the counselor were just two more “suspicious minds”

Provocatively, Cheryl, not only avidly read “Nabokov and Henry Miller and Anais Nin” in high school, but she was “obsessed” with Lolita, and Cheryl used to compare herself to the famous nymphet. “Like Lolita. I was, like, obsessed with it [...] I guess I used to, like, compare myself to Lolita sometimes.”

We knew that Cheryl’s affair with her teacher began when she was 16, but we learned in episode 3 that it lasted almost about six years! Thus, it’s no surprise that Cheryl admitted that the affair was consensual but she qualified it with a reminder that she was “implanted” (i.e., groomed) before she agreed to the affair.

“We stayed together until I was 22. The grooming led to what some people would say, was like, a consensual relationship.”

Cheryl said that her desire to move to L.A. gave her the strength to leave the age-gap relationship, but that doesn’t appear to be true or, at least, the only reason. “I’m in Los Angeles now. My desire to get out of Little Elm, it’s the reason that I had the strength to pull myself out of that relationship.”

Just like Vanessa Springora in Le Consentement (Consent) and Maggie in Three Women, the “real turning point” in the affair began after Cheryl found out that there were other nymphets, because after her teacher’s wife found out about her husband’s affair with Cheryl, Cheryl learned that her older lover was fired from his high school teaching position due to, “[...] an inappropriate email relationship with a student”.

And after Cheryl shared with Heaven Rubin, “I was in a relationship with him [i.e., Meyers] and it started when I was in high school. It started when I was 16.” Heaven replied, “Me too.” Cheryl cried, “Sorry.”

In episode 4, we learned a bit more about Heaven’s teacher-student affair with Meyers of which Cheryl said, “I’m just tying myself into knots about this.” After Meyers kissed Heaven, in class, their student-teacher sex included, “[...] instances of fellatio, cunnilingus and sexual intercourse inside the classroom - behind the closed door [...]”

And talk about a double plot twist! It was not until 17-year-old Heaven learned that she was not the only schoolgirl of Jason Meyers did she have a turning point in their affair.

The question remains, Why did Cheryl make Keep This Between Us? Well, she confessed that she wanted Meyers to “admit it” or acknowledge their student-teacher affair, because she wanted to believe that “he’s good”. It really bothered Cheryl that Meyers wouldn’t acknowledge their age-gap relationship. Cheryl said, “When I started out doing this documentary, I had hoped that he would accept [some] responsibility for this or at least acknowledge what happened, but he didn’t.”

Connectedly, the documentary ended with lyrics from Daniel Farrant’s “Who’s Gonna Fix It”: Don’t you know that you gotta\Take some of the blame

Famous Age-Gap Couple: Jerry Falwell Jr. (18) & Becki (13)

Jerry Falwell Jr. (18) & Becki Tilley (13)

Per Heavy's post "Becki Tilley, Jerry Falwell Jr.’s Wife: 5 Fast Facts":
According to a passage from the book Falwell Inc.: Inside a Religious, Political, Educational, and Business Empire by Dirk Smillie, Jerry Falwell Jr. “met his wife, the former Becki Tilley, an attractive brunette, when she was 13.”

And in Hulu's documentary God Forbid: The Sex Scandal That Brought Down a Dynasty (2022), Falwell Jr. confirmed that Becki was a nymphet when they met :
Panelist: "How old was Becki when you guys first met?"
Becki: "We don't need to go into that story."
Falwell Jr.: "She was 13, and I was 18 when I met her."
Allegedly, Becki and Falwell Jr. didn't start (openly) dating until Becki was an 18-year-old freshman at Liberty University, and Falwell was a second year law school student at the University of Virginia. (Unsurprisingly, the age-of-consent in Virginia is 18.)

Falwell Jr. & (Former) Student

If you recall, Falwell Jr. is the son of, the now deceased, Jerry Falwell Sr - the televangelist and founder of Liberty University. Scandalously, Falwell Jr. was the president of Liberty University until he was forced to resign in 2020 after a cuckolding sex scandal involving Falwell Jr., Becki, and Giancarlo Granda - a Fontainebleau Hotel pool boy.

Interestingly, as it more closely relates to this blog, Granda shared in God Forbid, "Jerry [Falwell Jr.] texted me a picture of a former student exposing herself at his private property."

We've covered a number of age gap affairs between students and teachers, students and principals, and students and coaches, but we've never covered an age-gap affair between a student and a college president!

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING's Child Bride Connection | Earl Stokes (42) & Rita de Acosta (15)

Rosemary Counter opined in her Vanity Fair piece, "The Apartments That Inspired Only Murders in the Building Have Their Own Bloody History" (July 6, 2022), that "Though it’s filmed at the nearby Belnord, the Arconia building in the Hulu series seems much more closely linked to the Ansonia—a real-life apartment complex [on Broadway between 73rd and 74th Street] that’s been home to murder, mayhem, and a swingers club."

The Ansonia building in New York City.
LEFT, FROM GETTY IMAGES; RIGHT, COURTESY OF HULU.

Counter related that the Ansonia has everything from Juliet balconies to marbled staircases with four-bedrooms going for about nine million:
Made up of 17 stories and around 400 unique units, the building is every New Yorker’s real-estate dream come true: Parisian-inspired with Juliet balconies, round turrets with gray terracotta details, and an opulent archway entry. Inside are hardwood herringbone floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a sweeping marbled staircase spiraling beneath a grand domed skylight. Today, a 3,000-plus square foot, four-bedroom, three-bathroom unit in the building is listed for almost $9,000,000.
Earl Dodge Stokes and Rita Hernandez de Alba de Acosta

But it's Earl Dodge Stokes, the Ansonia's founder, who's most relevant to this blog, because, per Counter, Stokes was: "[...] said to be very fond of young, newly pubescent, girls." Consequently, after Stokes spied a photograph of Rita Hernandez de Alba de Acosta, a 15-year-old heiress, he decided that she would be his nymphet bride.

Born-and-bred New Yorker William Earl Dodge Stokes, with a million dollars in his pocket having sued his own brother after their father died [...] spotted a photo in a shop window of 15-year-old heiress Rita Hernandez de Alba de Acosta and decided she’d be his teenage bride. He was 42 and said to be very fond of young, newly pubescent, girls.

Interestingly, Counter wrote that it was "thought" (i.e., assumed) that Rita "reluctantly" married Stokes, but that it was money that was her tipping point. (Ah money - the bane of teen OnlyFans stars and schoolgirl prostitutes.) And was it the money that kept Rita around for six years of marriage?

It’s thought that Rita reluctantly married him for money, produced a single male heir, and walked away around age 21 with what was rumored to be the largest divorce settlement on record at the time—$2 million in cash and $36,000 annually in alimony, allegedly.

Counter may have been wrong about why the teen heiress married Stokes, but Counter was correct about Stoke's foundess for (much) younger women, because, per the New York Times, subsequent to his divorce from de Acosta, 59-year-old Stokes married 24-year-old Helen Blanche Ellwood.

"Sex Appeal" (2022): "GET GOOD AT [TEEN] SEX"

Here's the relevant Movie Info via Rotten Tomatoes for Hulu's teen comedy Sex Appeal (2022):

Avery Hansen-White doesn't do things she isn't excellent at. So when her long-distance boyfriend [Casper] hints at wanting to take their relationship to the next level [i.e., have teen sex], she sets out to master her sexuality, employing her oldest friend, Larson, as a [sex] test subject.

In other words, Avery wanted to lose her virginity to Casper, but not before "practicing" with Larson. Consequently, just like Brandy in the teen sex comedy The To Do List (2013), Avery made a "GET GOOD AT SEX" list that included:

Handjobs
Blowjobs
Fingering
Butt Stuff

Avery even informed her high school sex ed teacher, "I know it's not in the manual, but I could use a little tutorial on the mechanics of the clitoris." But her teacher replied, "I cannot tell you how to pleasure yourself."

However, Avery, who interestingly referred to herself as a "young adult", got advice from Danica (Paris Jackson), "a [teen] mecca of sexual knowledge", whom advised Avery to measure, using a glass test tube, the depth of her vagina ("4.3 inches"), to use coconut oil as a lubricant while masturbating, and Danica encouraged Avery, à la TikTok, to masturabate via Jacuzzi jets

Curiously, to prove that she can orgasm, Ã  la Jasira in Towelhead (2007), Avery's classmate masturbated to completion - in class.

Avery's parents encouraged her as well by providing her with flavored condoms, dildos and words of encouragement like, "You blow whatever you're comfortable with."

And to encourage Larson to be her "fuck buddy", Ã  la Kat Stratford in 10 Things I Hate About You, Avery flashed Larson in the high school's hallway before they checked off a number of the items on the "GET GOOD AT SEX" list.

Lastly, Sex Appeal (2022) is a Hulu slash American High collab where American High is known to "Embrace the R-rated reality of high school".

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: Teen Kaia Gerber's (Ironic) Student Teacher Sex Scene

As it relates to this blog, it's sufficient to post that part 2 of American Horror Story: Double Feature is about aliens impregnating humans.

What's more relevant to the allure of nymphets is that in season 10 episode 7, Kendall Carr (Kaia Gerber), a 22-year-old Harvard student, shared with her friends from high school that she was having a sexual affair with her "50 Years of Technology" bearded Harvard professor.

"He was brilliant. So, I asked if I could pick his brain after class." [I added emphasis to "pick his brain", because there was a flashback to Kendall and her professor having sex in Kendall's dorm room below a Harvard pennant."

Prior to Kendall oversharing, Cal Cambon, a 21-year-old Princeton student, informed Kendall and the crew that he regretted doing summer internships, because most of time he was fetching coffee for Congressmen with nymphet girlfriends.

"Why did I say yes to those internships wasting my summers away getting coffee for douchebag Facebook execs and Congressmen with 16-year-old girlfriends."

We're shocked that Gerber accepted the role of Kendall Carr, because, after Gerber's age-gap affair with Pete Davidson ended, she appeared to be anti-age-gap affairs. (Gerber was 18 and Davidson was 26.)

Unsurprisingly, American Horror Story and American Horror Stories: Rubber (Wo)man have taken full advantage of Gerber's teen* allure. For example, in addition to her coed-professor sex scene, she has been a teen lipstick lesbian, shown in a sheer teddy and, for the pleasure of men with teen foot fetishes, a close-up of Gerber's manicured feet were displayed.

Kaia Gerber in American Horror Stories Rubber (Wo)man

* Gerber turned 20 on the 3rd of September; thus, she was a teen when American Horror Story: Double Feature and American Horror StoriesRubber (Wo)man were filmed.

Interestingly, per Teen Vogue, Gerber has watched American Horror Story religiously. And she filmed her audition tape with her famous mother, but it was "a little bit uncomfortable", because it was scene between Ruby and Scarlett - the nubile lipstick lesbians.
“Half of my life I've spent religiously watching American Horror Story,” Kaia told Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview. “I've seen every season, and I know how all the different storylines connect.”

Kaia also recounted details of her American Horror Stories audition, noting that she didn’t try out for the role in-person, but rather filmed a taped audition at home…with her mom, Cindy Crawford.

As for filming with her mom, well. “As you can imagine, [it was] a little bit uncomfortable to do with my mom,” Kaia shared with ET, explaining that she read a scene between Ruby and her love interest, Scarlett. “But she was trooper and helped me a lot.”

Scarlett Johansson: Hypersexualised Teen | Who's to Blame?

Owen Tonks posted on the Daily Mail "Scarlett Johansson, 36, reveals she felt typecast in 'hypersexualised' roles in her teens by 'a bunch of dudes' in Hollywood" (18 July 2021)

The actress, 36, had her break as an adult actress as Charlotte in 2003 movie Lost in Translation at the age of 18, but had her first leading role as Manny in Manny & Lo at the age of 12.

The star said she felt typecast in certain roles in her teens and on into her early 20s, telling The Sun: 'When I was working in my early twenties, and even my late teens, I felt that I got somehow typecast as hypersexualised, which I guess at the time seemed OK to everyone.

Johansson Manny & Lo (12) | Ghost World (16)

We're assuming that by "everyone", Johansson is including herself and her parent(s).  But, unsurprisingly, I'm incorrect, because Johansson recuses herself and her parents from any blame but relates that it was "kind of crafted" "probably" by "a bunch of dudes in the [film] industry.'"

'Even though it wasn’t part of my own narrative, it was kind of crafted for me by probably a bunch of dudes in the industry.'
Johansson Ghost World (16)

Is it possible that Johansson, her parents, and the film dudes are to blame? #rhetoricalquestion Then Johansson went on to, erroneously, imply that nymphets are no longer being "typecast as hypersexualised"

However, she insists 'the climate is so different now' and there are 'so many wonderful opportunities for women' in Hollywood today.
Netflix's Never Have I Ever

I wouldn't be surprised if Johansson didn't watch U16 handball, but I would be shocked if she didn't have a Netflix, Hulu and/or HBO Max account.

Scarlett Johansson & Benicio Del Toro

Did Johansson's 'hypersexualised' roles lead her to being too sexual teen? Glenys Roberts related in a Daily Mail post that:

"A 19-year-old Scarlett Johansson was so overcome by its heady atmosphere in 2004 that she couldn’t wait to get upstairs with [37-year-old] Puerto Rican star Benicio Del Toro and ripped off his clothes in the lift. ‘We were making out or having sex or something,’ she readily admitted later."

AMERICAN HORROR STORIES: Teen's Turned On By Pain & Shame Porn

Here are the IMDb plot summaries for American Horror Stories Rubber (Wo)man: Part One & Two, respectively:

A teenager and her Dads move into a forsaken home with a grim past. As the family makes renovations, a darkness takes root within them.

Scarlett enters a twisted new romance while Michael and Troy are forced to confront their rocky relationship.

As it relates to the allure of nymphets, the first two episodes of American Horror Stories are about Scarlett who is a 16-year-old lesbian Rubber (Wo)man who is turned on by "pain and shame" and "extreme porn".

When Scarlett's dad said, "We're gonna want you to see a therapist."

Scarlett asked, "To find out what? Why pain and shame turns me on? It turns every girl on. Haven't you seen Fifty Shades of Grey?"

The New York Post confirmed Scarlett's stance that girls are turned on by pain and shame when the tabloid reported:

Per Women's Health, the tongue emoji conveys, "I want to lick your [insert noun here]."
