Petronella Wyatt: An Upper-Class British Lolita

We first learned about Petronella Wyatt from Michael Wolff's Too Famous where he related that Petronella said that Rupert Murdoch ogled her when she was a nubile nymphet.

And in Petronella’s “Provocative Personal ViewDaily Mail essay (11 March 2013), she shared that when she was a 15-year-old nymphet, 76-year-old Laurence Olivier called her “forbidden fruit”, which was due to her combined youth and what Olivier referred to as Petronella’s “lovely little figure”. Regardless, Olivier invited the “awestruck” forbidden fruit to sit on his lap where he kissed Petronella’s lips and massaged her breast.

Petronella wrote in the essay, which the Daily Mail referred to as “The Outrageous Confessions of an Upper-Class Lolita”, that Olivier did not steal her innocence but that she was “flattered” that she had been “groped” by “the legendary actor”.  And Petronella's father appeared to be flattered that his daughter had been kissed and groped by the elderly Olivier as well. Upon hearing the news, Petronella’s father exclaimed, ‘The old devil! Did he do anything else?’ And he asked his daughter, ‘Did you enjoy it?’

Unsurprisingly, Petronella wrote that more of her father’s friends “made passes” at her. Petronella listed:

broadcaster Robin Day;

actor Albert Finney;

Lord Lambton;

a House of Lords member;

other politicians;

members of the peerage; and

the genius Robin Day

As for Day, Petronella shared that when she was 17, she and 62-year-old Day, whom she referred to as “an esteemed friend of my father’s”, dined at an “expensive restaurant” before, back at Day’s flat, they played music and danced as Day placed his hand on her “bottom”. Subsequently, Day attempted to seduce Petronella “on numerous occasions”, but they “remained friends until his death.”

Over Chablis in a private room at the racecourse, Albert Finley paid 15-year-old Petronella “extravagant compliments” (e.g., ‘You look like the young Liza Minnelli. She was a very sexy woman.’), and she wrote that he: “[…] placed his hand on my thigh.” In addition, he asked her if he could take her out to which she “gushed”, “Yes, please.”

Teen Petronella Wyatt (far right)

(Note: As for Chablis, Petronella shared: From the age of 13, I was encouraged by my father to drink red wine and quickly became inebriated.)

However, Petronella was furious, because her mother didn’t condone the date, but it wasn’t because of the age-gap, it was because Finley had a girlfriend, the actress Diana Quick, whom 15-year-old Petronella didn’t seem to mind.

Lord Lambton, “one of the most famous lotharios of the last century”, called Petronella ‘a great beauty, like a lily drenched with dew’. Consequently, Lambton, “in his late 60s”, asked the nymphet to join him for lunch at his villa where he asked, ‘Are you a virgin?’ ‘Yes.’

Lambton was unable to take Petronella’s virginity, but her father, whom referred to Lambton’s as a “wicked earl”, was “amused” by Lambton’s question and on the following day, he sent his teen daughter back to Lambton’s villa: “[…] with some books he thought Lambton might like to read”. Upon entering Lambton’s bedroom, Petronella found herself “staring at his stark-naked body.” Yet again, Lambton was unable to take Petronella’s virginity, but Petronella continued to meet with Lambton over wine and flirting.

Interestingly, Petronella opined that it should not be illegal for men to grope or fondle nymphets and that the age of consent should be puberty.

In the scheme of things, a grope or a fondle is hardly worthy of legal censure, yet has come to be regarded as akin to attempted murder. Sexual overtures to a young person who has not yet reached puberty are, of course, unforgivable in a civilized society. But never once was I subjected to physical force, intimidation or child abuse'

[…] nor should we forget how manipulative teenage girls can be.

In terms of that (married) House of Lords member, Petronella related that he kissed her while she visited him at his country house. Upon returning to London, she learned from her father that the House of Lords member, in his 50s, wanted to ask her for a date. Petronella asked her father if she should go, and he replied:

‘Yes. ‘Why not? He’s a man of taste. It’ll be good for your ego and you might even learn something. Of course, he’ll want you to go to bed with him […]’

Upon her father’s advice, Petronella went on the date with the (married) House of Lords member, and she wrote that she “[…] learned to accept men as they are […] driven by their sexual organs.”

Mare of Mare of Easttown

Petronella’s stance that: “[…] nor should we forget how manipulative teenage girls can be,” and “[t]hat many teenage girls are simply not to be trusted around attractive older men [...]”, reminds me of Mare of Mare of Easttown whom said, “Trust me. Teenage girls are fucking sneaky."

On a related note, as can be seen in both fiction and non-fiction teacher-student affairs, it’s typically the student whom initiates the affair with a teacher whom refused to resist the allure of a nymphet.

Thus, it should come as no surprise that Petronella penned that her classmates used to fight over their English drama teacher and that one of the schoolgirls used to delightfully “rub herself” on her professeur

Whenever our English drama teacher took the class to see a play outside school, we would fight each other to sit beside him.

One girl in particular, who already had breasts like the Hollywood actress Jayne Mansfield, would rub herself up against our teacher, much to his delight.

And not only did (elderly) men attempt to seduce Petronella, she confessed that, from the age of 13, she was an “incorrigible flirt”. So much so that by 17 she had seduced an “elderly Italian count”.

Speaking for myself, from the age of 13 I was an incorrigible flirt. I still feel guilty about my deplorable behavior towards an elderly Italian count our family used to visit every summer.

Piqued that he was not taking sufficient notice of my presence, I was utterly determined that I would seduce him into kissing me. I was 17, and he didn’t stand a chance.

My bedroom was next to the room where he watched television after dinner. One night, I made my entrance. After half an hour I had extracted the desired kiss. To his great distress, I then dropped him.

Consequently, in addition to being of the opinion that it should not be illegal for men to grope or fondle nymphets, that the age of consent should be puberty, and “[t]hat many teenage girls are simply not to be trusted around attractive older men [...]”, Petronella, an (open) teleiophile, wrote that: “[...] precocious and predatory girls who should be arrested, and not the men who show an opportunistic interest in them.” [Emphasis added]

Famous Age-Gap Couple: Michael Wolff & Victoria Floethe

Micheal Wolff's Petronella Wyatt

I've read a number of Michael Wolff's page turners - including Too Famous, which is peppered with nympholepsy. For example, Wolff wrote that, in terms of his affair with his step-daughter, Woody Allen said, "the heart wants what it wants". Wolff related that Petronella Wyatt, a friend of Rupert Murdoch's daughter, said that, [among a number of other famous elderly men], Murdoch ogled her when she was a nymphet. And per Wolff, Jeffrey Epstein told Steve Bannon that one of Epstein's masseuses, a 14-year-old whom said she was 18, told the police that she lied about her age: "[...] because she was afraid she would never be allowed into the house and never be invited back."

Victoria Floethe and Michael Woflff

In addition to Wolff's books, I've been (curiously) impressed by Wolff's impeccable since of style, which caused me to be doubly astonished when I read Richard Johnson's Page Six headline: "Michael Wolff expecting a baby with girlfriend 30 years his junior" (February 6, 2015)

Johnson wrote that 61-year-old (married) Wolff starting dating having an affair with 34-year-old Victoria Floethe in 2009 (i.e., Wolff was 55 and Floethe was 28).

Consequently, per Gawker, in 2014: "Wolff filed a matrimonial action against his wife in the Supreme Court of New York"; however, Wolff did not inform his wife whom found out via Gawker

Who is Victoria Floethe? Per WagCenterFloethe is a model (L’Oreal SoColor), an actress (Broken Windows [theater]), a host (LookTV's SEXY. NOT SEXY), a writer (Slate), and she interned at Vanity Fair where she reportedly began her age-gap affair with Wolff.

And unsurprisingly, per GawkerFloethe is an (open) teleiophile. Owen Thomas wrote in his Gawker piece, "Victoria Floethe, the New Media Ingénue" (02/26/09), that prior to Wolff, Floethe dated Melik Kayla and Lawrence Osborne - both older (travel) writers.

The "travel writer" boyfriend whom she never names in the Slate piece is Melik Kaylan, a widely published journalist much older than her. At the time Floethe and he were going out, Kaylan was married. He helped introduce her to Wolff, who got her an internship at Vanity Fair. According to our tipster, to Kaylan's dismay, Floethe switched her affections from Kaylan to Wolff.

She's also dated Lawrence Osborne, the travel writer ex of founding Gawker editor Elizabeth Spiers. And at an Interview party, she was photographed clinging to the side of English writer Adrian Dannatt.

Lastly, per the New York Times, Wolff's divorce was finally finalized, and he and Floethe are currently married.

Steely Dan's "Hey Nineteen": A Man Declines a Teen's Seduction

Steely Dan's "Hey Nineteen" has been popping into my head for years, but not until recently did I have an inclination that the song involved nympholepsy. And my inclination was correct! Per Will Layman's PopMatters post "JAZZ TODAY: The Strange, Mixed Fate of Steely Dan" (10 April 2006): "Gaucho's "Hey Nineteen" was about a middle-aged man's disappointment with a young [19-year-old] lover."

"Hey Nineteen" is track No. 2 on Gaucho (1980), which was Steely Dan's seventh American rock studio album.

Stewart Mason (incorrectly) posted on AllMusic that "Hey Nineteen" is about man trying to unsuccessfully seduce a "nubile young lass of the titular age".

Hey Nineteen" was the song that finally came right out and told the baby boomers that not only were they not kids anymore, but that the kids of 1980 thought they were a bunch of boring old farts. The song's narrator is with a nubile young lass of the titular age, putting on the same moves that had worked on the sorority girls "way back when in '67" and getting nowhere at all.

However, the song's lyrics make no reference to "the kids of 1980" whom considered the band members a "bunch of boring old farts". The narrator simply shares that in '67, he was a member of Gamma Chi who was privy to "Sweet things from Boston\So young and willing".

Way back when in '67
I was the dandy of Gamma Chi
Sweet things from Boston
So young and willing

And it's posted on SongFacts that the narrator is unsuccessfully attempting to seducing the nymphet. "In this song, an older man is seducing a 19-year-old girl." But that's fiction.

Boto from 52404 commented:

I thought if it as more of a 19 year old coming on to him and although he was aware of the age difference, after trying to convince himself it wasn’t a great idea he thought what the hell.

Boto from 52404 is correct, because the chorus is clearly shows that the narrator is rejecting the advances of the teen groupie whom desires to dance and converse with the man.

Hey, nineteen
No, we can't dance together (We can't dance together)
No, we can't talk at all
Please take me along when you slide on down

And after the man discovers that the teen isn't familiar with Aretha Franklin, he double downs on the fact that he is declining her offer to dance and talk. And he adds: "Hey, nineteen\No, we got nothin' common":

Hey, nineteen
That's 'Retha Franklin
She don't remember the Queen of Soul
It's hard times befallen
The sole survivors
She thinks I'm crazy
But I'm just growin' old

Hey, nineteen
No, we got nothin' common
No, we can't dance together
No, we can't talk at all
Please take me along when you slide on down

Of course, only the nympholepsy naive would opine that a teen groupie wouldn't make an attempt at seducing a much older man. For example, we previously wrote about 16-year-old Nancy Spungen whom, per Lena Dunham's The C-Word podcast (July 8, 2021):

[...] bragged that she had sex with the entire rock group Bad Company but that she only gave hand jobs (simultaneously) to two members of the rock band Aerosmith. In addition, Spungen reportedly had sex with Keith Richards, members of The Who, J. Geils and The Allman Brothers.

Famous Teen Groupie Lori Maddox

And Nikki McWatters shared in the Huffington Post post “Predatory Teenage Girls”:

Lori Maddox, a famous teenage groupie from LA, is alleged to have lost her virginity to David Bowie at the age of 13. [And] [s]he was [24-year-old] Jimmy Page's steady girlfriend while still underage [i.e., 14-years-old]."

Lastly, per Wikipedia, "Hey Nineteen" was a hit.

"Hey Nineteen" peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in early 1981, number 11 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and number 68 on the R&B Singles chart. With a chart run of 19 weeks, "Hey Nineteen" is tied with "Peg" and "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" for being their longest-running chart hit.

"Hey Nineteen" | Lyrics

Way back when in '67\I was the dandy of Gamma Chi\Sweet things from Boston\So young and willing\Moved down to Scarsdale\Where the hell am I?

Claudia Conway, 18, (Semi Nude) Teen PLAYBOY Bunny

Francesca Bacardi posted on Page Six that "Claudia Conway, 18, became a Playboy Bunny because she was ‘preyed upon’ in mid-teens" (June 5, 2023)

Previously, we related that Jenna Amatulli of The Huffington Post posted that Kellyanne Conway, Claudia's mother and the former White House counselor, (allegedly) posted a topless photograph of 16-year-old Claudia on Twitter's Fleets.

Claudia tweeted that she became a teen Playboy model because, when she was a (younger) nymphet, she was "exploited by the media, [and] preyed upon". Consequently, by becoming a teen Playboy model, she's "aiming to reclaim" her "womanhood and femininity". And you thought, like teen sex workers Bhad Bhabie and Sami Sheen, Claudia was doing it for the money!

Wait, but Bacardi wrote that men can follow Claudia for free on but that "racier photos such as cleavage close-ups" can go for anywhere between $5 to $99.

The “American Idol” alum launched a subscription page on in late April, and as of the end of May, it had just 11 images of her posing in a selection of bikinis.

Fans can follow the new Bunny for free, but more eager beavers can purchase racier photos such as cleavage close-ups that range in price from $5 to $99.

We're confused. Is Claudia posting semi-nude teen content on to reclaim her womanhood and femininity or is she posting for money?

Chris Brunet (@realChrisBrunet) tweeted:

> owning the media who tried to turn you into a circus sideshow by turning yourself into a circus sideshow

This outcome is *exactly* what they wanted!

To which Claudia (@claudiamconwayy) replied:
and who owns the content, making money off of it, and has full control over what is out there now? me

Thus, it appears that, at a minimum, Claudia became a teen sex worker to reclaim her femininity and, like teen Julia Foxearn (a lot) of money.

A TL;DR of RESTLESS VIRGINS: LOVE, [Bleacher, Chapel, Library, Bathroom, & Locker Room Teen] SEX & SURVIVAL IN PREP SCHOOL

Here are some blurbs from Abigail Jones and Marissa Miley’s New York Times Bestseller Restless Virgins: Love, Sex, and Survival in Prep School:

“A shocking look at the sexual behaviors of privileged teens [...]” - Natalie Morales, The Today Show

“[A]s they [Jones and Miley] chip away at the pervasive climate of unrelenting promiscuity and out-of-control partying, it is clear that something is very wrong in the life of contemporary teens [...]” - O, The Oprah Magazine

“As I was reading, I had to keep flipping back to the beginning where it says Restless Virgins is a work of nonfiction [...] all the things in the book really happened.” - Gayle King, XM’s Oprah & Friends

That’s correct, per Jones and Miley, both Milton Academy alumnae, the shocking sexual behavior and unrelenting promiscuity of the privileged Milton prep school students really happened during the 2004-2005 school year. In a sort of synopsis of their book, Jones and Marissa wrote:

Milton Academy educates the best and the brightest [...] It’s an American story about teenagers surviving high school, confusing lust with love and sex with power, and searching for self-worth. Their experiences are the stories of privileged adolescence.

I normally don’t focus on detailed character descriptions - whether fictional or non-fictional; however, I think it’s worth sharing Jones and Miley’s descriptions of typical Milton students, whom were described as preppy trust-fund babies who drove BMW convertibles and whom were known to “complain about their cleaning people”:

“[...] the DSGs [Day Student Girls] sat with their thin, designer-clothing-clad legs lined up in a row [...] Whitney sat in her short skirt and short sleeved polo to match. Her hair razor straight, and she flipped it occasionally  with her hand [...] Whitney wore flawless makeup and knew she looked good. Her best friend, a beachy blonde, true trophy-wife material, looked even better [another] one a sensual beauty with dark hair and exotic features, another the quintessential WASP with a pearl necklace.”

“[...] the senior boys, who were dressed like budding yachtsmen in navy blazers, khaki pants, ties and loafers [...] Reed and the Hanley boys wore matching orange ties from Brooks Brothers.”

The non-fiction book focuses on the 2004-2005 senior class that was described as a: “[...] complex teenage creature all of its own, governed by a distinct social and academic hierarchy, sustained by friendships and crushes, lust and desire [...]”. Below is the tl;dr of my 14 page recap of the 328 page book.

Restless Virgins (2013) | Lifetime

Whitney: Out for Pleasure

Whitney had long brown hair and “[...] an unusual combination of beauty and grace, slim and delicate after a decade devoted to figure skating.” And “[...] as one of the popular senior girls herself, she knew it was her duty to look hot.”

On the night of her senior year First Dance, “she was out for pleasure”. Consequently, “Whitney and Tripp found themselves wandering across the main quad and toward a football field.” On the bleachers, “confident in her hand-job skills, Whitney gave Tripp a hand-job,” because she wasn’t sure if she could give him “head” due to Tripps “huge!” and “enormous!” penis. Despite Tripp's size: “She wanted him inside her, thick and encompassing, painful in that really, really good way” - on the prep school’s bleachers.

Talk about a nubile nymphet. Jones and Miley shared some of Whitney’s other sexual exploits:

  • During sophomore year, Whitney kissed seven guys at a Dave Matthews concert

  • Whitney and a “girlfriend” hooked up in front of their boyfriends, which one can infer happened during Whitney’s freshman year

  • Whitney desired “fucking” before figure skating practice. Thus, she’d “[...] run to Nick’s [dorm] room, have sex [sans préservatif], spring back to her car, and barely make it to practice on time.”

  • Whitney had her first orgasm, which Jones and Miley described as “delicious”, “[...] in Nick’s bed, his aunt's bedroom nearby, at some odd hour of the night [...]”

  • Jones and Miley wrote of Whitney and Nick: “She’d given him head a million times.” Hyperbole?

  • And Whitney had: “[...] a one-night stand with a hot guy she met on vacation in the Caribbean.”

Teen Sex in the Library, Snack Bar, Dorm, Bathroom, Chapel, etc.

In addition to the football field, Whitney and a number of other schoolgirls attempted sex in the “library, the snack bar after hours, dorms [obviously], [and] random bathrooms.” Jones and Miley even wrote about “the orgasm a girl planned to have that afternoon on the third floor of the school library”.

Jones and Miley wrote: “Girls wanted [sex] stories [...]” And the “potential increase in social status and attention. Some girls, like Whitney, enjoyed performing oral sex, honing their skills, loving the control.”

At the Swap It Dance, Reed: “[...] spotted a girl who gave him the look he was searching for.” Despite never having met before, she “led him to the [Apthorp] chapel” where “[h]e fingered her briefly” and “the girl gave Reed a blow job” near the chapel’s “massive pipe organ”.

Vibrators and Semi Naked Runs to the Chapel

At the end of the school year: “One  by one, the senior girls bestowed their cherished gifts upon the underclassmen [...] One senior willed a [cherished] vibrator. Another passed down a [cherished] key to the yearbook office to the girl whom she’d caught having sex in Pryce’s common room [only hours] after check-in.” Subsequently, some senior schoolgirls: “yelled, ‘Flagpole run!’, took off varying amounts of clothing, and did a seminaked run to the chapel, Forbes, and back.” [Emphasis added]

Teen Oral Orgies

Jones and Miley shared that, after dining in Forbes, Reed, Brady and three other school boys proceeded to the Athletic and Convocation Center (ACC) where they: “[...] punched in the security code, and slipped inside.” Subsequently, Zoe, a 15-year-old sophomore, “slipped inside” the ACC too and joined the school boys in the hockey team’s locker room. What was Zoe doing in the boy’s locker room the night before exams?

“She knew exactly what to do. She kneeled and began: one boy, then the next, oral sex performed on all five in turn.”

And that was Zoe’s third teen oral sex orgy - consecutively!

“Zoe had spent part of Saturday night giving head to three guys in a dorm room, and part of Sunday night doing the same to three guys in the same locker room. Monday night was not novel [...]”

Annie: A Rubens Girl

Annie was described as having wavy blond hair “past her soldiers” and “[s]he was fleshy, a Rubens girl with a curvaceous body, breasts the size of baby melons since they’d first cropped up in fifth grade [...] Yet she’d always been reticent about her breasts, and still didn’t understand how they never garnered her attention from the guys at school.”

Despite Annie’s experience, by senior year, she feared that the younger schoolgirls, “fifteen and sixteen-year-old vixens, with their developing breasts”, were having sex “with much more frequency”, because they were “[s]neaking in, sneaking out, stifled moans from a couch in the common room when dorm parents weren’t looking: it was all business as usual for some of the girls in her dorm.”

Caitlin Lane’s Parties and Teen Sex Games

Brady’s bunch of friends, “attractive, athletic, and preppy”, had an alliance with the younger Day Student Girls [DSG], Milton’s most popular girls, and Caitlin Lane whom was described as a “stunning young DSG”. Consequently, petites fêtes were held in Caitlin’s basement “[...] with beer, TV, hookups, [and] parents upstairs without a care.” “There in the basement, or in cars parked in empty parking lots, these girls offered themselves to Brady and his friends.” [Emphasis added]

What type of hookups happened in Caitlin’s basement?

  • “Hookups involving one girl and several guys - or at least one girl, one guy, and an audience - were not unusual at Caitlin Lane’s parties.”

  • At Caitlin’s parties: “A topless [boarding school] girl was a standard sight.”

  • In addition to teen threesomes in Caitlin’s basement there was “[...] the Dub Saw (when two boys penetrate a girl simultaneously, one in her vagina and one in her anus), or the Eiffel Tower (when a girl performs oral sex on one boy and simultaneously receives vaginal or [teen] anal sex from another boy, while the guys slap hands above her, forming the famous French point).

(However, Stoneface took place on campus and in dorm rooms where “[...] guys sit around a table while a girl crawls around underneath, performing oral sex on each of them in a random order. The winner is the last boy to show an expression of pleasure, the one with the stone face.”)

In the end, despite reading the tl;dr of the recap, it still may be clear to the reader that, in their New York Times Bestseller, Jones and Miller efficiently exemplified the fiction of, what they referred to as, the “myth of innocence”.
