MY SECRET GARDEN: From Bestiality to Urophilia | Teen's Sexual Fantasies

On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of Nancy Friday’s groundbreaking collection of women’s sexual fantasies, My Secret Garden, there was a panel discussion called “Sex and What Women Want Now” at the 92nd Street YMHA in New York City. The event was moderated by Friday’s husband, Norman Pearlstein, the editor-in-chief of Time, Inc.; and besides Friday herself, the other panelists included Candace Bushnell, the author of the book Sex and the City, on which the HBO series was based [...]

That’s correct. The panel was held at the Upper East Side’s posh 92nd Street Y, Friday was married to the editor-in-chief of Time, Inc., and Sex and the City’s Bushnell was on the panel. And during the discussion, Friday opined that as long as a (very young) woman reaches orgasm, it doesn’t matter whom she thinks about while masturbating or during sex; thus, based on Friday’s My Secret Garden, it’s safe to assume that Friday condones fantasizing about teachers, fathers and priests.

“Doesn’t everyone here agree that it doesn’t really matter?” Friday asked. “If it takes you where you want to go, if it helps you reach orgasm, does it matter who you’re thinking about?” 

Friday's My Secret Garden: Women’s Sexual Fantasies is an international bestselling collection of women's fantasies that were collected during the early 1970s via interviews and letters from women from a variety of ethnicities and socioeconomic classes.

The book is both revealing and shocking. For example, a number of women fantasized about bestiality (e.g., some women fantasized about their dogs performing oral sex on them and fantasized about having sex with horses or donkeys.) Other common fantasies included: incest, rape (often by more than one man), orgies (with men and/or women - “alone” or with an audience), and sex with African-American men. 

What's most relevant for our purposes is that Friday discovered that most of the women whom contributed to the book started fantasizing when they were nymphets. More specifically, most of them began fantasizing when they were between the ages of 7 and 11. 

Here are some examples the nymphet fantasies:

Men, Kings, Fathers & Priests

When Suzanne was a nymphet, she read in a sex instruction book about a girl who was alone in a cloakroom at a dance before a man came behind her, lifted her dress and inserted his penis into her. Suzanne was "excited" about the case history and would think about that scene while she masturbated. Eventually, Suzanne fantasized that she was the girl in the cloakroom.

Francesca's fantasy is that after her mother trains her to be a "purely and perfect sexual object" she is "brought at the age of thirteen or fourteen, as a pubescent girl” by her mother to be sold to an Oriental king. To win the king's favor, Francesca's mother "performs" on her with her finger, before Francesca, excuse the pun, mounts the King's throne.

Since Bella was 8-years-old, her father has always been her "fantasy lover during masturbation".

Barbara shared that she likes to imagine that she is a naughty nymphet and is "[...] hauled up in front of the headmistress for a caning [...]" with her knickers down to her knees. Barbara added that in the Middle Ages, some priests used to undress nymphets and cane them after their confessions. And many nymphets, "[...] who fancied their particular priest simply went and lied in the confession, knowing what it would lead to."

[Pre] Teen Lipstick Lesbianism

Clarissa shared that she remembers when she and her friend were caught masturbating with candles when they were 12.

Marina began to be aware of men at the age of 9 or 10 and thought about them while she masturbated; however, Marina only had "a vague idea of what lovemaking was" until she met her friend, a 10-year-old Mediterranean girl. When Alison was 14, she had an "[...] unusual relationship with a close girlfriend." For example, Alison's girlfriend would dress her in a sexy bikini made of chiffon scarves, before she pretended that she was a "rowdy seaman" and raped Allison.

Bestiality 

Lisa began fantasizing when she was a nymphet about going to bed and having intercourse with a man. Now that she's married, her fantasies frequently involve animals.

When Dawn was 15, she enjoyed sauntering around her house in the "[...] summer when her parents were out [...]" and having breakfast in the nude. On one such morning, she noticed that her dog, "[...] had this huge hard-on [...]" while he tried to climb upon her. And since that day she said that she has fantasized about that scene "[...] a thousand different ways, complete with the dog's prick inside me, and my family walking in on the scene [...]".

Nina "[...] discovered the delights of masturbation, at the age of seven [...]" She used to imagine that her girlfriend was rubbing between her legs or that her girlfriend's dog was licking her vagina.

Rape

Gail was almost raped when she was a nymphet in her boyfriend’s best friend's car, now that she's an adult, she "frequently" fantasizes about being raped. 

Heather's first fantasy occurred when she was about 11 or 12. She would lie in bed at night and imagine herself being followed and overpowered in the woods by a strange man whom would make her "do things against" her will. Later, the fantasy changed to her being repeatedly sold as a slave in the East.

BDSM

As for Nathalie, the "[…] thought of being spanked used to arouse sexual feelings at the age of six or seven [...]"

Stella's fantasies go back to when she was a pre-teen. When she was 11, a group of boys and girls started bullying her on her way home from school. The leader of the group told Stella that, from that day forth, she was to obey his orders and do whatever he wished. It never happened, but Stella has fantasized about the possibilities since she was a nymphet. 

Student-Teacher

Theda's first sexual fantasy started when she was about 7 or 8 after she gazed upon her teacher's "rotund posterior".  She wrote that she had "an infantile urge” to slide her hand “[…] down his bum cheeks and round to 'the front' [...]". And when she was 14, her friend Monica "[...] allowed boys to feel her while she undid their flies and 'tossed them off'.

Alexandra fantasizes about having an affair with her high school teacher. She stated emphatically, "[...] I'm sure it would not be a fantasy if I gave him a little encouragement." I concur

On a related note, Stephanie fantasizes about very young girls being raped "by a mad professor". In Stephanie’s fantasy, the professor decides whom he was going to rape by examining "their sexual apparatus".

Urophilia

When Fiona was a nymphet she wrote that she "[...] played the usual doctor […]" and "house" games, which consisted of her exposing and exploring her little friend’s genitals. Somehow, Fiona made a sexual association between sex and urinating and fantasized while sitting on the toilet with her legs apart that one of the little boys urinated into the toilet between her legs.

When Phyllis makes love to her husband, she often thinks about the first time she saw a penis, which happened when she was a virgin nymphet. But that is not when she had her first sexual fantasy. That happened after she saw a man urinating when she was about 11. She didn't actually see the man's penis. She saw his "stream of urine," but that was enough to get her too "excited".

A close reading of My Secret Garden will show that a number of the nymphet’s fantasies combined a combination of fetishes, but in some cases, fantasies weren’t shared, but actual events were related. For example, Theda, who fantasized about her teacher, shared that when she was 14, her friend Monica "[...] allowed boys to feel her while she undid their flies and 'tossed them off'. And after 10-year-old Lindsay saw an urinating man's penis, she used every spare moment in hopes of seeing another man’s penis.  

Furthermore, the “fantasies” under lipstick lesbianism were actually [pre] teen salacious non-fiction events. Remember that Clarissa shared that she and her friend were actually caught masturbating with candles - when they were 12.

And some contributors simply shared how they masturbated.

Sonia wrote that when she was 11 or 12, she used to "[...] sit in the back seat of the car on trips and cross [...]" her legs "very tightly," which caused the bumps in the rode to stimulate her sexually.

When Kay was 10, she frequently dressed up as a pirate by pulling her trousers, very tightly, up to her "crotch," because it "felt good 'down there'".

Interestingly, most of the contributors to My Secret Garden were no longer nymphets when they submitted their fantasies, which, as we now know, often began when they were pre-teens. However, Bobbie was 15 when she submitted her fantasy. 

Bobbie related that while she is having one of her daily masturbation sessions, she imagines that a boy who turns her on is tied up while she plays with his penis. Bobbie makes the boy suffer and won't let him have an orgasm until after he performs "cunnilingus" on her. Bobbie went on to share: "Sometimes if I really feel devilish, I imagine that I pee in his mouth and he has to swallow it." #urophilia

Lastly, after reading My Secret Garden, which the Village Voice wrote is “A real turn-on!”, I was not surprised to read that (some) women enjoy glancing at "crotches", because I've seen nymphets take pictures of men's crotches on the Uptown 4. However, I was surprised to learn that (some) lesbians fantasize about having sex with men while having sex with women. Ironic?

Jessica Simpson: Pre-Teen Sexual Abuse or Nymphet Lipstick Lesbian Affair?

Jessica Simpson shared in her memoir, Open Book, that she was "sexually abused" from the ages of six to 12 by a older female family friend. The alleged abuse occurred during sleepovers approximately three times per year for six years. Simpson shared that the older nymphet initiated the sex with 'tickling': “It would start with tickling my back and then go into things that were extremely uncomfortable.” 

And Simpson added: 'Eventually it wasn't just at nighttime. She would get me to go into a closet with her, or just find a way to linger until we were alone. It got to the point that she would sneak into the bathroom to watch me shower.'

However, some argue that Simpson was not sexually abused but that she was engaged in a consensual nymphet lipstick lesbian affair. 

For example, the older friend of the family was only one year older than Simpson; so, when the alleged abuse began, Simpson was six and the other nymphet was seven. 

In addition, Simpson wrote: 'I never let her near [my younger sister] Ashlee, but I also never screamed or told her to stop. I was confused, wondering if it was something that I wanted to keep going.'

And Simpson shared in a People interview that she felt like she was a sexual abuser of a nymphet, “I allowed it to happen, so I felt that I was as much of the abuser as the abused. So I was very shameful during that time, from 6 to 12 years old.”

In her memoir, Simpson blames her years of alcoholism and prescription pill addiction on the pre-teen lipstick lesbian affair. But some argue that her addiction may have more to do with the typical unhappiness that comes with sudden success and newfound wealth than anything else. 

Furthermore, pre-teen lipstick lesbianism is not uncommon. For example:

Judith Levine shared in her prize winning book Harmful to Minors: The Perils of Protecting Children From Sex that a major longitudinal study at UCLA found that 75% of kids had masturbated and/or had sex with another child before the age of six. And that: "Flora masturbated at six or seven and had orgasms starting at ten or eleven. When she was that age, a thirteen-year-old friend joined her. 'We would lay around and take off our clothes,' Flora recalled [...] 'We even made dildos out of toilet paper and Vaseline.' She recounted the story without shame or regret: in fact, she spoke with glee."

Lastly, isn't it interesting that Simpson and her publisher are using the allure of (pre-teen) nymphet lipstick lesbianism to sell the memoir?

Nabokov's LAUGHTER IN THE DARK: A Nymphet's Agenda

The author of the 60 Years of Challenge warns men that they should avoid seeking affection from the opposite sex and that female affection is rarely sincere. The only exception would be when the affection comes from one's mother, which is why Royal advises men to let the phrase, "I love you," go into one ear and out of the other. According to an article in Vanity Fair, when Barack Obama was a graduate student at Columbia University, after his [white] love interest warmly said, "I love you," he coldly replied, "Thank you." The reason for this behavior is that (some) women have an agenda (i.e. specific reason) for being with men. In addition, Alain De Botton relates in How Proust Can Change Your Life that Proust advised men to generally avoid having friends, both male and female. Royal and Robert Beck agrees with Proust.

And Albert Albinus, the protagonist, in Nabokov's Laughter in the Dark would probably agree with these principles as well. Albinus, a "well groomed" middle-aged Berlin based art critic with "his pleasant smile and mild blue eyes", made the mistake of falling in love with 16-year-old (nude) model Margot Peters. Margot had a lovely baby face, a slim figure, and hazel eyes. Albinus, who had dreamed of finding a very young mistress, was naive and assumed that the nymphet's affection was sincere, when she really wanted to use him to help her advance her acting career. She wanted him to leave Elisabeth, his dear wife who "[...] as a small girl, had been secretly in love with an old actor who used to visit her father [...]". Margot didn't want Albinus to leave his wife, because she wanted him exclusively, but because she wanted exclusive access to his wealth. ("[H]e had been left a soundly invested fortune by his father.")

To make matters worse, Margot had an affair with 30-year-old Axel Rex, a New York City based painter, who took the teen's virginity before she met Albinus. Rex's behavior towards Margot was the antithesis of Albinus'. Rex, who was "ugly" and had "longish lusterless black hair, protruding cheekbones, and twinkling eyes", abandoned Margot after he took her virginity and he never told her that he loved her, yet she was madly in love with him.

Interestingly, Albinus and Rex gave good examples of how to seduce a nymphet. I wrote in The Allure of Nymphets that there are a variety of ways to seduce a nymphet, but arguably the preferred methods are Open (i.e. seduce the nymphet into opening or approaching you.) and Arranged (i.e. a family member or "friend" introduces you to a nymphet). Royal wrote that a man looses his power when he approaches a woman. He wrote "The King of Spain is all powerful in Spain. He directs and enforces his powers from his castle. If he goes to France, he's powerless. He must let the French people come to Spain in order to rule and govern them."

What Albinus did to meet Margot was the method that Robert Beck recommended, which is stalking. He said in Whitaker's Iceberg Slim The Lost Interviews, "I would advise not to pursue but to stalk, first of all. Or, I say not to chase, but to stalk." And that is exactly what Albinus did to Margot. For example, one evening, as a past-time, he strolled into "the velvety darkness" of a small cinema and noticed the "painfully beautiful face" of Margot. "After three days he could not ignore the memory of her no longer." And he returned to the cinema, but failed "to catch her eye". "He went there a third time firmly resolved to smile at her." Eventually, Margot approached Albinus.

Rex used a combination of the Arranged and Open methods. For example, he met Margot through Frau Levandovsky (After leaving her parent's home, and with good riddance, Margot moved into a small servant's room in Levandovsky's flat.) and after the arranged introduction, he stalked the nymphet i.e., "[H]e came [the] next day, and then again and again." Subsequently, Rex didn't ask Margot to move into a flat that "[...] he had rented for her the day before [...]" He commanded her to, "Pack up your things quick and come along." And she "[...] yielded with pleasure and zest [...]" after they "[...] crossed the threshold [...]" 

Furthermore, Rex was very charming (e.g. "He did not speak to her much [...]") and he was mysterious (e.g., "She could not guess what he was doing in Berlin or who he really was."). Royal wrote that "A pimp's main source of power is his anonymity [...] A pimp does and says only what needs to be said and done." Wisely, Rex left Margot "[...] only because he was afraid of becoming too fond of her." Coincidentally, the author of The October Man Sequence advises men to avoid being "[...] inferior in a relationship - you should at the least be equal."

In contrast, Margot was able to almost immediately find out everything about Albinus - his address, phone number, and how much wealth he possessed. Albinus even went out of his way to "[...] interest her in his past, telling her of his childhood, his mother whom he remembered but vaguely, and his father [...]"

Margot was so distressed after Rex abandoned her that she spent the night with two Japanese men. They gave her 350 marks for her services. (The nymphet only asked for 200.) Subsequently, she met "[...] a fat old man with a nose like an overripe pear [...]" After he paid for her room until November and gave her enough money to purchase a fur coat, "[...] she allowed him to stay for the night." He died shortly after they met. And then she met Albinus, eventually was re-introduced to Rex at one of Albinus' parties, where the chit and Rex reunited to the ultimate dismay of Albinus.

THE MONK (2011): A Monk is Seduced by a Nymphet

The Monk (2011) [French: Le moine] is an ironic example of "What To Do" and "What Not To Do" to be seduced by a nymphet. Counterintuitively, the piety of monks can be extremely attractive to nymphets. 

Mickey Royal relates in The Pimp Game that for one to be a pimp, he must have power over himself and give up desires of the flesh (i.e. materialism, lust, etc.). And every man knows that females are attracted to power, but not every man knows that one of the most attractive forms of power is self-control (i.e., power over oneself). 

Royal even advises that, like the Monk, one should not approach the opposite sex, but be "open" (i.e. have no desires of the flesh) and, like the Monk, let the nymphet be the seducer.

In the French film, the Monk (Vincent Cassel) is understandably very religious. Following Royal's advice,  he initially rejects the advances of a teen who sneaks into the monastery to seduce him; however, after she drugs him and takes his virginity, his inhibitions are released, and he aggressively pursues the nymphet. 

Unsurprisingly, she rejects his advances, and unfortunately he makes the ultimate sacrifice to "be with her". The monk's neediness was unattractive to the nymphet, because being needy exemplifies a lack of power (i.e., needy is an antonym of power).

Lastly, if you want to be seduced by an age-appropriate nymphet, having a monk-like beard isn't a bad idea either. 

BELINDA by Anne Rice: Captain Save a Nymphet

I wrote in The Allure of Nymphets that a trap that older men should diligently avoid is adopting the role of “Captain Save a Hoe” or more specifically "Captain Save a Nymphet". Captain Save a Nymphet is one who gets into a relationship with a nymphet to save her (e.g., from an abusive boyfriend, a life of poverty, an inadequate education and/or to expose her to culture, etc.). However, Captain Save a Nymphet rarely, if ever, saves the teen in distress, but often becomes ensnarled in her web of unending drama.

In Belinda by Anne Rice (writing as Anne Rampling), 16-year-old blond and tanned Belinda attended 44-year-old famous author and artist Jeremy Walker's book signing and after he noticed her he imagined, "Reaching under her short little Catholic school plaid skirt and touching the silk of her naked thighs [...] kissing her, seeing if her face was a soft as it looked-baby flesh."

Jeremy asked Belinda if she wanted to go to a publisher's party at the Saint Francis hotel. In a hotel room at the party, Walker asked Belinda for permission to paint her at his house. He promised her that he didn't have any ulterior motives and that he was "perfectly sincere."

Belinda replied, "Why shouldn't I believe that. I know all about you, Mr. Walker. I've read your books all my life." But it was Belinda who had ulterior motives. After she locked the door and turned the latch, she whispered into Jeremy's ear, "Come on. Don't you want to do it before they come and ruin everything?" And that was the beginning of their age-discrepant affair.

However, Jeremy wasn't Belinda's first affair with an older man or woman. Belinda was banned from her mother's house after it was revealed that 15-year-old Belinda was having an affair with Marty Moreschi, her step-father.  And Belinda shot a lipstick lesbian scene when she was 14, and she had "[...] a two-week Christmas holiday affair with an Arab prince when she was thirteen."

Interestingly, Belinda was well-bred and cultured. For example, in one scene she asked for a "fish knife" as she held her "fork in her left hand, Continental style," she had lived in museums all over Europe, and she could read and write in French, Italian and English. 

However, Belinda was living in a half-way house when she met Jeremy, which should have been a clear warning to Jeremy that something was amiss and that he should have ended their affair immediately. However, the allure of the nymphet was too strong for him to pull away and he precariously put his career and life into jeopardy.

LOVE, MATH AND SEX (1997): Always Ask A Nymphet Her Age!

Just like in a number of novels, movies and television shows (e.g.  Life Unexpected, Bored to Death, etc.) Jiri (Georges Corraface), the 40-year-old protagonist in Love, Math and Sex (1997) [French: C'est la tangente que je préfère], didn't realize that Sabine (Julie Delarme), his love interest, was underage until after they had sex.

For obvious reasons, one should never have a sexual relationship with an underage nymphet and the defense, "I didn't know!", even when true, unfortunately doesn't appear to hold weight in or out of court; thus, always ask a nymphet her age!

Interestingly, illegal age-gap relationships are not typically exposed by nymphets but by jealous boyfriends, jealous and concerned female friends and/or concerned parents.

Unsurprisingly, Jiri was unable to cease the affair after having a taste of the nymphet. Surprisingly, Jiri, unlike a lot of ephebophiles, realized the importance of letting the nymphet determine how quickly the relationship should advance.

Jiri confessed, "I don't want you to vanish again. I wanted to go too fast - like a kid tugging a plant to make it grow faster. I should have been patient and waited for you to love me."

Famous Ephebophile Anthony Weiner: Another Ephebophile Entrapped by a Nymphet

The Daily Mail reported that 51-year-old Anthony Weiner had an online affair with a 15-year-old high school sophomore. It's important to note that the nymphet initiated the affair, confessed that it was consensual, and shared that she was obsessed with Weiner.

The girl first reached out to Weiner on the evening of January 23, 2016, when she noticed his Twitter page allowed non-followers to contact him through direct private messages. 

She told DailyMail.com she was interested in politics and had heard about his sexting scandals, and was curious to see what he was like.   

It was clear from the messages that she was encouraging Weiner to engage with her in a sexual manner. She told DailyMail.com she didn't consider Weiner her boyfriend, but thought the relationship was a 'romantic' one.

She acknowledged during interviews that she had developed an obsession with Weiner, and sought him out on Twitter in January while trying to write a book about him. She said she continued to write the book as their relationship developed.

Once again, an ephebophile, Weiner, wasn't able to resist the allure of a nymphet, and the nymphet is being hailed as the innocent victim when they both should be scolded. 

Update 10/01/17: Weiner was sentenced to 21 months in a federal prison, and he will have to register as a sex offender, but the nymphet wasn't charged with a crime.

Upper-Class Teen Middle School and High School Oral Sex

I shared in The Allure of Nymphets that Tom Wolfe related in Hooking Up that in high schools and junior high schools, from the plush suburbs of Washington to the underprivileged schools of the South Bronx, 13 and 14-year-old girls were performing fellatio on boys between classes.

And Laura Sessions Stepp posted in the article "Parents Are Alarmed by an Unsettling New Fad in Middle Schools: Oral Sex" (July 8, 1999) for the Washington Post that nymphets at Williamsburg Middle School, "a mostly upper-income community" in Arlington, Virginia, were performing oral sex at house parties and in parks:

The principal, Margaret McCourt-Dirner, told about 25 assembled parents that as many as a dozen girls [...] had been engaging in oral sex through most of the school year. The teens, 13 and 14 years old, were getting together at parties in one another's homes and at local parks.

And some Virginia based middle-school nymphets were performing oral sex in (middle) school and on the (middle) school bus:

At a middle school in Talbot County, officials this year learned through the student grapevine that a girl and a boy, both eighth-graders, had engaged in oral sex in a crowded study hall. The incident followed by only a few months a similar event on a school bus of seventh-graders returning from a field trip [...]

A nymphet shared with Stepp that the nymphet's first experience was in the eighth grade - in a local park. Subsequently, the nymphet performed "oral sex twice more that year". The nymphet opined, "It was no big deal."

For parents wondering just how much things have changed since the days when they were first experimenting with dating and sex, the answer is right there in the nurse's office at Hunter High School, a New York City public school for gifted students.

But Lewin wrote that the mint-flavored condoms are provided for a good cause:

Many girls also see it [i.e., oral sex] as a means of avoiding pregnancy and of preserving their virginity.

In addition, Lewin wrote that: "[...] those who teach and counsel adolescents say they have no question that there has been a significant rise in the prevalence of oral sex, and a decline in the age at which it starts [...]"

Dr. Carl Perry shared with Lewin that teen oral sex is incredibly casual:

'It is incredible how casual oral sex has become for some adolescents,'' said Dr. Carol Perry, who was a psychologist for 15 years at Riverdale Country School and Trinity School, two private [upscale] schools in New York City [...] 

A 15-year-old Manhattan private schoolgirl told Lewin that "oral sex doesn't seem like sex", that some nymphets see performing oral sex as a "rite of passage", and that one her friends had performed oral sex the previous weekend:

''[...] oral sex doesn't seem like sex. People may see the first time as a rite of passage, but after that, it's nothing much. A friend told me she'd done it to a boy last weekend [...]''

Per Elaine Sarfati, the Hunter school nurse, the mint-flavored condoms are flying off the shelf:

The mint condoms are now being taken at a faster clip than the regular ones. Elaine Sarfati, the school nurse, said she restocks 20 or 30 flavored condoms a day to the box on the shelf in the bathroom off her office -- a shelf high enough to be out of the way of younger children.

And what's a typical question concerning oral sex from a Manhattan (privileged) middle-school nymphet?

Dr. Cydelle Berlin, the health educator who founded the Adolescent AIDS prevention program at Mount Sinai Medical Center. For girls, 'Do you spit or do you swallow?' is a typical seventh-grade question. 

Lewin's article was posted in 1997, Stepp's was written in 1999, and Wolfe's Hooking Up was published in 2001, but it's very safe to assume that there's been no reduction in the occurrence of nymphet oral sex.  

And rest assured that nymphets are not restricting their services to middle-school boys and high school jocks. Nymphets are performing oral sex on men too (e.g., their bff's college-aged brothers, their "uncles", and Jeffery Epstein types for spending money.) But Orthodox Jews and Muslims and even some feminists would agree that nymphets should avoid performing oral sex - no matter the age of the benefactor.
