Upper-Class Teen Middle School and High School Oral Sex

I shared in The Allure of Nymphets that Tom Wolfe related in Hooking Up that in high schools and junior high schools, from the plush suburbs of Washington to the underprivileged schools of the South Bronx, 13 and 14-year-old girls were performing fellatio on boys between classes.

And Laura Sessions Stepp posted in the article "Parents Are Alarmed by an Unsettling New Fad in Middle Schools: Oral Sex" (July 8, 1999) for the Washington Post that nymphets at Williamsburg Middle School, "a mostly upper-income community" in Arlington, Virginia, were performing oral sex at house parties and in parks:

The principal, Margaret McCourt-Dirner, told about 25 assembled parents that as many as a dozen girls [...] had been engaging in oral sex through most of the school year. The teens, 13 and 14 years old, were getting together at parties in one another's homes and at local parks.

And some Virginia based middle-school nymphets were performing oral sex in (middle) school and on the (middle) school bus:

At a middle school in Talbot County, officials this year learned through the student grapevine that a girl and a boy, both eighth-graders, had engaged in oral sex in a crowded study hall. The incident followed by only a few months a similar event on a school bus of seventh-graders returning from a field trip [...]

A nymphet shared with Stepp that the nymphet's first experience was in the eighth grade - in a local park. Subsequently, the nymphet performed "oral sex twice more that year". The nymphet opined, "It was no big deal."

That's what happened to one girl who recalled her first experience at the start of eighth grade. At a local park [...] 

She said she engaged in oral sex twice more that year, including at a party [...] The party was held on a Saturday night at a girl's house. About an hour after the party started, the action moved outside, under the deck, where several couples, including this girl and a boy she didn't even like, started having oral sex.

"We came back in and sat around and talked about it," this girl recalled. "It was no big deal."

In addition, per Tamar Lewin of the New York Times, upper-income Manhattan teens are performing oral sex too. 

Tamar Lewin posted in "Teen-Agers Alter Sexual Practices, Thinking Risks Will Be Avoided" (April 5, 1997) for the New York Times that Hunter, a top high school on Manhattan's wealthy Upper East Side, provides "mint-flavored condoms with no spermicide, labeled ''ONLY for oral sex'' for the Hunter High nymphets:

For parents wondering just how much things have changed since the days when they were first experimenting with dating and sex, the answer is right there in the nurse's office at Hunter High School, a New York City public school for gifted students. 

On the shelf in the nurse's bathroom is a box of condoms, to help students avoid pregnancy and protect themselves against AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. 

And right next to it is a box of mint-flavored condoms with no spermicide, labeled ''ONLY for oral sex.''

But Lewin wrote that the mint-flavored condoms are provided for a good cause:

Many girls also see it [i.e., oral sex] as a means of avoiding pregnancy and of preserving their virginity.

In addition, Lewin wrote that: "[...] those who teach and counsel adolescents say they have no question that there has been a significant rise in the prevalence of oral sex, and a decline in the age at which it starts [...]"

Dr. Carl Perry shared with Lewin that teen oral sex is incredibly casual:

'It is incredible how casual oral sex has become for some adolescents,'' said Dr. Carol Perry, who was a psychologist for 15 years at Riverdale Country School and Trinity School, two private [upscale] schools in New York City [...] 

A 15-year-old Manhattan private schoolgirl told Lewin that "oral sex doesn't seem like sex", that some nymphets see performing oral sex as a "rite of passage", and that one her friends had performed oral sex the previous weekend:

''[...] oral sex doesn't seem like sex. People may see the first time as a rite of passage, but after that, it's nothing much. A friend told me she'd done it to a boy last weekend [...]''

Per Elaine Sarfati, the Hunter school nurse, the mint-flavored condoms are flying off the shelf:

The mint condoms are now being taken at a faster clip than the regular ones. Elaine Sarfati, the school nurse, said she restocks 20 or 30 flavored condoms a day to the box on the shelf in the bathroom off her office -- a shelf high enough to be out of the way of younger children.

And what's a typical question concerning oral sex from a Manhattan (privileged) middle-school nymphet?

Dr. Cydelle Berlin, the health educator who founded the Adolescent AIDS prevention program at Mount Sinai Medical Center. For girls, 'Do you spit or do you swallow?' is a typical seventh-grade question. 

Lewin's article was posted in 1997, Stepp's was written in 1999, and Wolfe's Hooking Up was published in 2001, but it's very safe to assume that there's been no reduction in the occurrence of nymphet oral sex.  

And rest assured that nymphets are not restricting their services to middle-school boys and high school jocks. Nymphets are performing oral sex on men too (e.g., their bff's college-aged brothers, their "uncles", and Jeffery Epstein types for spending money.) But Orthodox Jews and Muslims and even some feminists would agree that nymphets should avoid performing oral sex - no matter the age of the benefactor.

Hannah Marder posted on BuzzFeed "I'm Sick Of Male Celebs "Dating" Teenagers — So I've Decided We All Need A Reminder Of The Famous Men Who Have Done It: We need to stop giving these guys a pass because they're talented or beloved." (Apr 26, 2023)

Marder wrote that famous age-gap relationships are "an unfortunately common phenomenon of our society". So much so, that "a lot" of famous men have "dated" nymphets (i.e., "literally minors"), which, in Marder's opinion, makes a lot of famous men predators. 

It's an unfortunately common phenomenon of our society that men will often date younger women — especially when it comes to male celebs. A lot of famous male celebs have even "dated" teenagers. I say "dated" because some of these people were literally minors — and frankly, in my opinion, if you're "dating" a teenager in your 30s or even 20s*, you're a predator.

Marder profiled 21 famous age-gap relationship, but she did not share that a number of those relationships were initiated by the teenagers; thus, one could argue that in some of the age-gap affairs, the predators were the nymphets who were too irresistible to their prey (i.e., the famous (weak) men). In addition, in a number of the age-gap affairs were condoned by the parents. 

And before I recap Marder's list, I have a rhetorical question. Did Marder write the post because she really felt that we needed a reminder about famous age-gap relationships or did she use the allure of nymphets in age-gap relationships as clickbait? (Despite her true intentions, unsurprisingly, it appears that the post was well-read, because it earned a fire emoji and got over 400 comments.)

2. As the lead singer of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler has been beloved for decades. But for some reason, people seem to ignore the fact that he once "dated" a 16-year-old. He literally admitted to it in his memoir, writing, “She was 16, she knew how to nasty, and there wasn’t a hair on it."

It's likely that Tyler is referring to Julia Holcomb, who [...] [l]ike Tyler stated in his memoir, she claims that Tyler persuaded her mother to signed over guardianship to him, which is corroborated in Tyler's own memoir, in which he writes “her parents fell in love with me, signed a paper over for me to have custody, so I wouldn’t get arrested if I took her out of state. I took her on tour with me.” Tyler was 26 at the time. 

In Tyler’s memoir, Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?: A Rock 'n' Roll Memoir, he referred to the nymphet in question as Little Oral Annie whom was a member of the Little Oral Annie Club, which consisted of: “Six nubile young chicks, one cuter than the next.” Somehow, the teen club members had taught each other how to perform profound oral sex on men. Tyler wrote:

Now, one night after our show at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle in late November 1973 [...] our very considerate promoter had invited these girls there for us. “I’ve got a little surprise for you boys.” My, my, my, what do I spy with my little eye? Unsurprisingly, the teen teleiophiles were teen lipstick lesbians as well. And they could perform profound oral sex on girls too. 

To have two girls come up and say, “Hi, we’ll do each other, wanna watch?” is mind-boggling. Six hot girls and one of them whispers in your ear, “I can eat her pussy right here and now better than anyone on the planet.” I think I can safely speak for all males of the species . . . this moment would have changed your religion.

We can infer from Tyler’s description of the Little Oral Annie Club members that at least one of them was dressed in a (sexy) Catholic schoolgirl costume, which, per Tyler, all men find pleasing, which was convenient because the aim of the Little Oral Annie Club was “to please” . 

All these girls were dressed up fantasy style in sexy costumes. Guys are very predictable creatures. We all like schoolgirls in plaid skirts [...]

Little Oral Annie left the Paramount Theatre with Tyler, and they went to the Edgewater Inn were they sat in the: “[...] tub for two hours, naked with no water […]” Subsequently, Tyler fell in love with Little Oral Annie and her parents fell in love with Tyler. Consequently, Little Oral Annie’s parents  gave Tyler custody of their 16-year-old.

At the end of the tour I brought her home to Boston. We got on well for a while . . . we were best friends and did everything together. [...] But toward the end things started to derail. We got so messed up on drugs and were so out of control that the dark side started taking over. [...] When you love somebody, set them free. And I just had to let her go. She went back to her parents, but I can still see her in the songs we sang together. And the greatest thing she taught me . . . that love is love reflected.

Marder posted that: “It's likely that Tyler is referring to Julia Holcomb, who actually sued him last year [2022] for sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress [...]”

Ethan Millman posted on Rolling Stone “Steven Tyler Officially Named In Sexual Assault of a Minor Lawsuit From Decades-Old Claim: Julia Holcomb claims the Aerosmith singer engaged in a sexual relationship with her in the mid-1970s, starting when she was 16 years old” (December 29, 2022) In the piece, Millman wrote that Holcomb (Little Oral Annie) left Tyler after he forced her to get an abortion and that she: “[...] buried her previous experiences with Tyler until he wrote about them in his book.”

From the NY TIMES to Netflix: Schoolgirl Sleepover Sex Stories (Part 3): Restless Virgins | Zoe, Isabel, Annie, and Whitney

Abigail Jones and Marissa Miley exemplified in their New York Times Bestseller Restless Virgins: Love, Sex, and Survival in Prep School (William Morrow\HarperCollins, 2008) that, in addition to hotel rooms, sleepovers can happen in boarding school dorm rooms and in the family guest room too. 

Per Jones and Miley, both Milton Academy alumnae, the shocking sexual behavior and unrelenting promiscuity of the privileged Milton prep school students that they wrote about in their book actually happened during the 2004-2005 school year. In a sort of synopsis of their book, Jones and Marissa wrote:

Milton Academy educates the best and the brightest [...] It’s an American story about teenagers surviving high school, confusing lust with love and sex with power, and searching for self-worth. Their experiences are the stories of privileged adolescence.

Jones and Miley described the typical Milton student as preppy trust-fund babies whom drove BMW convertibles and whom were known to “complain about their cleaning people”. Specifically, the Milton schoolgirls were described as “thin” and ”designer-clothing-clad”, and the schoolboys were described as “dressed like budding yachtsmen in navy blazers, khaki pants, ties and loafers” (i.e., “quintessential WASP[s]”).

As for Milton Academy, it was established in the late 18th century in Milton, MA, and was described as: 

“[...] the breeding ground of privilege [...] the elite school that has educated luminaries like the Kennedys and Roosevelts; and T.S. Eliot [...]” with a Forbes dining hall that: “[...] was more like a private dining room of an exclusive club [than a cafeteria].”

What follows are recaps of four Restless Virgins: Zoe, Isabel, Annie, and Whitney:

Zoe

Jones and Miley wrote that Zoe, a then-15-year-old sophomore at the prestigious Milton Academy, like a number of other schoolgirls whom attended the prep school, was fond of performing oral sex on schoolboys. For example, after dining one Monday, Reed, Brady, and three other schoolboys proceeded to the Athletic and Convocation Center (ACC) where they: “[...] punched in the security code, and slipped inside.” Subsequently, Zoe, “slipped inside” the ACC as well and joined the boys in the hockey team’s locker room, where she performed oral sex on the five schoolboys - consecutively. Jones and Miley wrote: 

She knew exactly what to do. She kneeled and began: one boy, then the next, oral sex performed on all five in turn.

And that was Zoe’s third teen oral sex orgy - consecutively, because Zoe had performed oral sex on schoolboys that Saturday and Sunday too. Jones and Miley wrote: 

Zoe had spent part of Saturday night giving head to three guys in a dorm room, and part of Sunday night doing the same to three guys in the same locker room. Monday night was not novel [...] 

In addition, two weeks later, Zoe performed oral sex again – in a hotel room. Per Jones and Miley, Brady, a Milton schoolboy, attended a birthday party [i.e, Zoe’s Sweet Sixteen] at a hotel [i.e., Marriott Hotel in Copley Square] where Zoe welcomed Brady to the hotel room in her bra while two other teens were having sex in the bathtub. Jones and Miley wrote: 

When Brady arrived, Zoe and a friend opened the door to the kids’ room in their bras. Alcohol was everywhere [...] someone pulled back the shower curtain to reveal a girl and a guy having sex in the bathtub.

A report in The Phillipian, “Milton Academy Reports Additional Oral Sex Incidents” (2005), elaborated on the hotel room teen debauchery.  Per The Phillipian, Zoe and another schoolgirl were topless when they welcomed Brady and other guests to the hotel room. And, in addition to teen bathtub sex, “other guests were engaging in sexual acts”. For example, Zoe performed oral sex too, but, reportedly, only on one schoolboy. The Phillipian: 

The 15-year-old female student at Milton Academy who allegedly performed oral sex on five members of the Boys Varsity Hockey team is reported to have performed the same act on two members of the team and on another 15-year-old boy the day before in the same locker room [...] In addition, the same girl reportedly attended a birthday party in a Boston hotel room during which alcohol and sexual favors were freely exchanged. The party at the Marriott Hotel in Copley Square in Boston took place two weeks after the alleged locker room incidents, but before the scandal was exposed to the public [...] The same source told the Boston Herald that two topless girls […] welcomed male guests to the party. The source also observed the same girl perform oral sex on another boy, as well as other guests engaging in sexual acts.

Why was Zoe involved in so many oral orgies? Jones and Miley opined: “The acts were part of an implied social change: oral sex for social clout.” 

And there were receipts too. For example, Reed, another Milton student, learned, via cell phone photos, that during Sunday's oral orgy, Zoe wore a rugby shirt. #preppy In addition to photos, unsurprisingly, there were Milton schoolgirl sex tapes as well.

Isabel

Not to be outdone, Reed had teen sex in a W Hotel suite during a school trip to Times Square. “Reed arrived at the W Hotel with his bag of preppy clothes and a strip of ribbed Trojan condoms, ready to take on New York City.” Conveniently, Isabel decided that she wanted to lose her virginity during the school trip. Why? “She couldn’t imagine being a virgin when she graduated from high school.” 

In the suite, Isabel performed oral sex on Reed as he was “glancing at the basketball game”. After it took him 15 minutes to penetrate her, he “threw her up against the couch and then the windowsill, pumping into her from various directions”

The next night at the W, after “Josh and Erica rolled around on the king-size bed”, Erica performed oral sex on Josh, which fascinated Josh because he couldn’t believe that: “Erica had just swallowed his cum. He was impressed [...]”

Back in MA, to Isabel’s delight, her parents let her have a sleepover with Reed. Consequently: “Isabel sneaked into the guest room, where Reed was supposed to sleep alone, and brought condoms. They had sex for the second time, passed out for a while, woke up, had sex, passed out, and did it all over again. Isabel was happy [...]”

(Interestingly, Jones and Miley related that not only did Reed and Isabel go to Ivy League schools, forty-four Milton graduates from Reed and Ivy’s class went to Ivy League schools as well, including four to Yale, nine to Brown, and a whopping twelve to Harvard.)

Annie

Annie was described as having wavy blond hair “past her soldiers” and “[s]he was fleshy, a Rubens girl with a curvaceous body, breasts the size of baby melons since they’d first cropped up in fifth grade” Annie, who started wearing eyeliner in the fifth grade, “accentuated” her “oversize breasts”, because she “loved” that she looked 18 instead of 13. 

Annie: “[...] learned at an early age that sexual performance, especially a good one, often brought rewards, especially attention from the boys she wanted to like her back.” Consequently, Annie’s “sexual education” began at a party the summer before 8th grade.

By high school, Annie had earned so much sexual experience that: “It would've been easy [for Annie] to teach her friends how to give hand jobs.” 

On vacations and weekends, Annie, in a matching Victoria’s Secret bra and thong set, would sneak out of the house to see Scott for a sleepover, but always after midnight. “Throughout the years, she gave him orgasms and he made her feel desirable [...]”

And one night, after her senior year orchestra performance, Annie, who carried her flute in a pink-and-black Hervé Chapelier bag, had a sleepover at Teresa's, whom turned off the alarm system, which allowed Scott to enter through the garbage, which allowed Annie to give Scott a sleepover hand job in Teresa’s basement.

Whitney

Whitney had long brown hair and “[...] an unusual combination of beauty and grace, slim and delicate after a decade devoted to figure skating.” And “[...] as one of the popular senior girls herself, she knew it was her duty to look hot.” “Her hair razor straight, and she flipped it occasionally with her hand [...] Whitney wore flawless makeup and knew she looked good.”

Whitney, who “pulled her first thong around her narrow hips in the seventh grade”, “wanted: attention from the hottest boy in her class.” Consequently, during her freshman year, Whitney lost her virginity to Nick on his dorm room couch. They stopped using condoms after their third time.

During the summer before 11th grade, Whitney: “[...] tiptoed barefoot down the stairs and sneaked out of her house.” Despite not having a driver’s license, Whitney drove her mother’s new car to the beach with Nick. Subsequently, the teens returned to Whitney’s for a sleepover: “[...] where they had sex against the wall she shared with her parents.”

On the night of her senior year First Dance, Whitney “was out for pleasure”. Thus, she danced with Tripp until she escorted him off the dance floor. Next: “Whitney and Tripp found themselves wandering across the main quad and toward a football field.” On the bleachers, “confident in her hand-job skills, Whitney gave Tripp a hand-job,” because she was not sure if she could give him “head” due to Tripps “huge!” and “enormous!” penis. Despite Tripp's size: “She wanted him inside her, thick and encompassing, painful in that really, really good way” - on the prep school’s bleachers. 

Eventually, Tripp would have Whitney over for sleepovers where she would repeatedly perform oral sex on Tripp. Jones and Miley wrote: “She’d just spent the weekend hanging out at his house, meeting his mom, joining his family for dinner, and giving him head.” 

However, sleepovers at Tripp’s didn’t stop Whitney from having sleepover sex at Nick’s as well, where the teens would: “have sex, smoke, eat, and have sex again.”  Jones and Miley wrote: 

Whitney disappeared for weekends at a time, telling her mom she’d come home on Saturday and then not showing up until last Sunday night. Entire weekends were consumed by the void of Nick’s bedroom. The two of them would have sex, smoke, eat, and have sex again.

Whitney had her first orgasm during a sleepover with Nick, which was described as “delicious”. It happened “[...] in Nick’s bed, his aunt's bedroom nearby, at some odd hour of the night [...]” And Jones and Miley wrote of Whitney and Nick: “She’d given him head a million times.” Hyperbole?

Jones and Miley didn’t write full profiles on all the Milton students. Some of the students were briefly mentioned, like Josh, whom, while at his Cape house: “[…] a girl asked Josh if he wanted to have sex [...] He got a condom, played it cool, and fumbled his way out of virginity.” At Jillian’s summer house, she dragged Oliver into a bedroom where: “[...] she found herself down to a bra and hooking up with Oliver, who was in a T-shirt and socks. The condom was on. He entered. Four seconds later, he withdrew.” And Caroline, “with her pretty face and [naturally] blond hair”, while her parents were upstairs, lost her virginity in her living room as Almost Famous played in the background. Caroline “[...] spontaneously cried halfway through,” but she thought, “Wow. This is happening. This is nice.” Jones and Miley wrote: “She couldn’t wait to do it again.” 

Interestingly, of Restless Virgins, Natalie Morales of the The Today Show blurbed: “A shocking look at the sexual behaviors of privileged teens [...]” On XM’s Oprah & Friends Gayle King blurbed, “As I was reading, I had to keep flipping back to the beginning where it says Restless Virgins is a work of nonfiction [...] all the things in the book really happened.” And in 2013, the Lifetime Movie Network released Restless Virgins: A sex scandal that shook [a] Massachusetts prep school, Milton Academy in [the] 2004-05 school year (IMDb).

Levy defined Male Chauvinist Pigs as “men who regarded women as pieces of meat”, while she defined Female Chauvinist Pigs as “women who make sex objects of other women and of themselves” (i.e., self-sexualization). 

In addition to Female Chauvinist Pigs, Levy coined the phrase “raunch feminism”, which is where “stripping is a valuable to elevating womankind as gaining an education” and where “[t]he basic requirements are hot girls and small garments.”

Levy related that Jenna Jameson, “the world’s highest grossing porn star”, wrote the best seller How to Make Love Like a Porn Star that was published by Judith Regan. Interestingly, Regan opined on CBS, “I believe that there is a porno-ization of the culture [...]” 

Levy gave an example of the “porno-ization of the culture” when she wrote about “Cardio Striptease” classes that were offered at Crunch gyms in big cities like New York, LA, and Chicago where students were encouraged “to attend their workout sessions in bras and thongs”. Provocatively, for her “sweet sixteen celebration”, a California nymphet and eight of her friends participated in a Cardio Striptease class. (Levy did not disclose if the nymphets wore bras and thongs.) 

Relatedly, Anne, a student at Head-Royce, a private school in the wealthy section of Oakland, shared: “[...] like my friend is having her eighteenth birthday party and she wants to have strippers there.”

The chapter most relevant to this blog is intriguingly titled “Pigs in Training”, which is in reference to teen Female Chauvinist Pigs (i.e., self-sexualized nymphets). 

[Note: As I’ve previously detailed what Levy wrote on Swiffer Girl, (i.e., Danielle Miller, a Horace Mann prep middle school student, who produced three (3) self-shot teen masturbating videos that prominently displayed a Swiffer broom.), I’ll avoid her here.]

Levy began the chapter with several examples of teen oral sex - including middle school school bus oral sex:

There’s a rumor going around that “rainbow parties” are the latest teen rage. Rainbow parties are good old-fashioned slumber parties, with a distinctly contemporary twist: All the girls in attendance put on a different color of lipstick, invite over one lucky boy, and then one by one they treat him to oral sex until voilà! His penis is a spectral color chart.

(This reminded me of a previous post where we related that Laura Sessions Stepp wrote in the article "Parents Are Alarmed by an Unsettling New Fad in Middle Schools: Oral Sex" (July 8, 1999) for the Washington Post that nymphets at Williamsburg Middle School, "a mostly upper-income community" in Arlington, Virginia, were performing oral sex at house parties and in parks.) 

In December 2002, a middle-school girl performed fellatio on the high school boy sitting next to her on the school bus in Kingston, Massachusetts, while their classmates watched. 

The same thing had happened with a pair of seventh-graders on a school bus back in 1999 in Talbot County, Maryland, where an eighth-grade girl also fellated her neighbor during a crowded study hall. 

These incidents may have inspired two thirteen-year-olds in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, who were suspended for engaging in a round of oral sex (her on him) in the back of a school bus during a spring field trip in 2004.

These examples hit home, because I know of a Manhattan public school teacher whom had a scandal in his freshman year science class. It happened the day after his students returned from a field trip when a schoolgirl learned that her boyfriend received oral sex from their classmate - on the school bus.

In the novel Hummingbirds, Mr. Landry, the headmistress of Carmine-Casey - a Manhattan prep school, shared with Binhammer, an English teacher, that she: “[...] got a call from a parent just two weeks ago giving her ninth-grade daughter permission to leave school when her boyfriend, who is a freshman in college, came to pick her up in his car.”

And in an example of art imitating life, Alexa, who, at the time, was a junior at Oyster Bay High, shared with Levy that 7th graders were “hooking up or having sex” with high school seniors:

“In my school, what was very popular was seventh- or eighth- or ninth-grade girls hooking up or having sex, whatever, with junior and senior guys,” she said. “Parents kept calling the school, like, why is this senior at my house when my daughter is a freshman? They dressed so provocatively, the guys couldn’t really tell how old the girls were…all they see is a hot girl.”

Thus, it appears that those Oyster Bay High nymphets were practicing what Levy termed “raunch feminism” where : “The basic requirements are hot [teen] girls and small garments.”

Degrassi | Middle School Thong

Unsurprisingly, Levy wrote that “everybody” at Oyster Bay High shared with her that they wore teen thongs. And Levy related a story about a middle-school nymphet (“who was 12 or 13”) at Head-Royce whom: “[...] pulled up her shirt, pulled out the strap of her thong from under the side of her skirt, and snapped it [...]”!

In addition to performing oral sex (on school buses) and wearing thongs under small garments, it’s not unusual for nymphets to participate in lipstick lesbianism or what the previous owner of my copy of Female Chauvinist Pigs annotated as “bisexual appropriation”. 

Therefore, it’s not unanticipated that Levy described “girl-on-girl action at school dances”. For example, David and Anne, classmates at Head-Royce, shared with Levy that schoolgirls do live girl-on-girl scenes to “appeal to the guys” (i.e., for “a lot of attention…definitely”) :

An example, he said, would be all the lap dancing and girl-on-girl action at school dances. “There’s this whole stereotype, and it’s probably largely true, that guys kind of like two girls kissing each other. So you’ll see a guy sitting on a chair—at, you know, a high school dance—and two girls will just go up and give him this huge lap dance and start making out. [...] just doing it to appeal to the “guys…always trying to find this new way in to appeal to the guys.

One of David’s best female friends, Anne, agreed. “Definitely girls hook up with other girls because they know the guys will like it,” she said. “They think, Then the guys are going to want to hook up with me and give me a lot of attention…definitely. If they think a guy’s going to like it, they’ll do it.

But it appears that (some) teachers and schools, like at Dalton in Manhattan, may condone schoolgirl (oral) sex and even teen masturbation. For example, Peggy Cowan, the president of the New Jersey Physicians Group, related to Levy: “I heard of one woman teacher who tells kids how to masturbate. Explaining it! About fantasizing when you shower!” 

And we shared that Tamar Lewin posted in "Teen-Agers Alter Sexual Practices, Thinking Risks Will Be Avoided" (April 5, 1997) for the New York Times that at Hunter, a top high school on Manhattan's wealthy Upper East Side, provides "mint-flavored condoms with no spermicide, labeled ''ONLY for oral sex'' for the Hunter High nymphets.

In the end, Levy related that the behavior of teen Female Chauvinist Pigs is not always about getting attention. In some cases, nymphets are expressing their sexuality. Connectedly, Levy shared an anecdote about Nancy Friday’s My Secret Garden, which Levy referred to as a “groundbreaking collection of women’s sexual fantasies”. In terms of teens expressing their sexuality, here are three examples from My Secret Garden:

Clarissa shared that she remembers when she and her friend were caught masturbating with candles when they were 12.

Theda's first sexual fantasy started after she gazed upon her teacher's "rotund posterior" when she was about 7 or 8.  She wrote that she had "an infantile urge” to slide her hand “[…] down his bum cheeks and round to 'the front' [...]".

Alexandra fantasized about having an affair with her high school teacher. She stated emphatically, "[...] I'm sure it would not be a fantasy if I gave him a little encouragement."

Levy even shared that some of the same sexual fantasies she had when she was “very young” currently run through her bed: 

“Likewise, certain themes have run through my sexual fantasies since I was very young, just as they now run through my bed. Nobody had to teach me how to want these things, or how to get them.”

And the author shared that when she was a 17-year-old high school student, she visited Wesleyan, where, as part of her college tour, she was taken to a “Naked Party” that was decorated with a crepe paper penis and vagina. And Levy learned that at Wesleyan: “Group sex, to say nothing of casual sex, was *de rigueur.” Needless to say, Levy is an alumna of Wesleyan. But doesn’t Levy’s anecdote contradict her subtitle? Maybe there hasn’t been a [sharp] rise in teen raunch culture but rather a gradual continuation.
