Savannah Before Porn: A 13-Year-Old Wants To DO Rock Stars

Savannah (birth name: Shannon Michelle Wilsey) was a famous porn star; however, I learned from Lena Dunham and Alissa Bennet's podcast, The C-Word, that Savannah, who was referred to on the podcast as, "[...] a 13-year-old who wants to drink and do it with rock stars," had a famous age-gap sexual affair with Gregg Allman of The Allman Brothers Band. 

Dunham: "One fateful evening, 16-year-old Shannon was dining with her mother when she caught the eye of 42-year-old famed musician Gregg Allman of The Allman Brothers [...] [S]hannon said that her mom suggested, "You should go out with him. He's famous [...] 

Bennet: "Gregg Allman and Shannon. 16-year-old baby girl and Gregg Allman who's 42 start having a romantic relationship."

 

Dunham: "Classic."

Bennet: "So Savannah packed up her shit. She left to go on tour with him for a couple of years. And no one was, like, ever alarmed that he was 26 years older than her [...] Pam Longoria [Savannah's mother] would later say that at first she was proud that her teenage daughter had dropped out of high school and was touring with a rock star [...]" 

However, despite the fact that Longoria suggested that her daughter "go out" with Allman and Longoria confessed that she was proud of her daughter's age-gap affair, Longoria subsequently sued Allman.
