CRUSH (2020): GIRLS GONE WILD and/or Teen Lipstick Lesbian Liaison

Here's the (vague) Movie Info for Hulu's Crush (2022) from Rotten Tomatoes:

When a young artist is forced to join her high school track team, she uses it as a chance to pursue the girl for whom she's been harboring a crush. But she finds herself falling for an unexpected teammate and discovering what real love feels like.

To put it more bluntly, Crush is about a love triangle between three Miller High School bi-sexual classmates. Paige, an 11th grade artsy type, is initially attracted to Gabby - a lipstick lesbian in a hot pink spandex bottom and midriff baring tee. (Paige's attraction to Gabby began in middle school.) However, Paige becomes more attracted to AJ - an artsy type and Gabby's twin sister. 

Angie, Paige's mother, fully condoned Paige's teen sexuality to the point that Angie purchased Paige (oral sex) dental dams. Angie washed Paige's sex toy - in the dishwasher. And Angie opined that the teen sex toy was too small:

"[I got you] [g]low in the dark dental dams. They make your puss kind of glow. It's so pretty."

"Paige, I took the liberty of washing your sex toy. By the way, this is very small. It could totally get lost up there."

Interestingly, Crush reminded us, like Amazon's I Love Dick (s01e03), that the Daddy Thing isn't limited to teleiophiles.

Paige: "Do I at least look like a top?"
Dillon: "Total bottom. Maybe a power bottom."
Stacey: "Like, you call her daddy, and she calls you her sweet little prince."

There's an unwritten rule that when a film contains a lipstick lesbian affair, there's at least one age-gap affair in the film as well. In Crush, Paige's mom shared that when she was a nymphet, after a rager, she entertained the lead singer of a cover band in the back of band's van.

"When I was a teenager, I went to this rager, and I ended up in the back of a van with the lead singer of an Aerosmith cover band."

In the end, due to the multiple teen girl-on-girl kissing scenes, we opine that Crush, an American High film, is more like a Girl Gones Wild CD, accompanied by a storyline, than anything else.  

"Sex Appeal" (2022): "GET GOOD AT [TEEN] SEX"

Here's the relevant Movie Info via Rotten Tomatoes for Hulu's teen comedy Sex Appeal (2022):

Avery Hansen-White doesn't do things she isn't excellent at. So when her long-distance boyfriend [Casper] hints at wanting to take their relationship to the next level [i.e., have teen sex], she sets out to master her sexuality, employing her oldest friend, Larson, as a [sex] test subject. 

In other words, Avery wanted to lose her virginity to Casper, but not before "practicing" with Larson. Consequently, just like Brandy in the teen sex comedy The To Do List (2013), Avery made a "GET GOOD AT SEX" list that included:

Handjobs
Blowjobs
Fingering
Butt Stuff

Avery even informed her high school sex ed teacher, "I know it's not in the manual, but I could use a little tutorial on the mechanics of the clitoris." But her teacher replied, "I cannot tell you how to pleasure yourself." 

However, Avery, who interestingly referred to herself as a "young adult", got advice from Danica (Paris Jackson), "a [teen] mecca of sexual knowledge", whom advised Avery to measure, using a glass test tube, the depth of her vagina ("4.3 inches"), to use coconut oil as a lubricant while masturbating, and Danica encouraged Avery, à la TikTok, to masturabate via Jacuzzi jets. 

Curiously, to prove that she can orgasm, à la Jasira in Towelhead (2007), Avery's classmate masturbated to completion - in class.

Avery's parents encouraged her as well by providing her with flavored condoms, dildos and words of encouragement like, "You blow whatever you're comfortable with."

And to encourage Larson to be her "fuck buddy", à la Kat Stratford in 10 Things I Hate About You, Avery flashed Larson in the high school's hallway before they checked off a number of the items on the "GET GOOD AT SEX" list.

Lastly, Sex Appeal (2022) is a Hulu slash American High collab where American High is known to "Embrace the R-rated reality of high school". 

Hulu's PLAN B (2021): A "Raunchy Teen [Sex] Comedy"

Here's Hulu's plot summary for Plan B (2021):

After a regrettable first sexual encounter, a straight-laced high school student [Sunny] (Kuhoo Verma) and her slacker best friend [Lupe] (Victoria Moroles) have 24 hours to hunt down a Plan B pill in America's heartland.

Seconds into Plan B, which BuzzFeed referred to as "Hulu's New Raunchy Teen Comedy", Lupe sexted a picture of her panties covered derrière, and Sunny masturbated to a picture of a "man" in her science book. 

While dressing for gym class in the high school locker room, Megan shared, "Oh, did I tell you? We finally tried reverse cowgirl." Subsequently, during gym, Megan straddled, rubbed it against her bottom-grass, and licked a hockey stick. 

The lesbian subplot appeared to be disingenuous and masquerading as a lipstick lesbian subplot, because Lupe shared that she had sex with a boy at church camp, that she had previously performed oral sex on a boy, and she apparently watched heteronormative porn.

Sunny: "Oh, what's a skull fuck?"

Lupe: "It's when a guy puts his junk in your mouth and humps your skull."

Sunny: "That's a real thing?"

Lupe: "I'll send you some links."

In addition to the lipstick lesbian subplot, Sunny and Lupe came upon a couple of nymphoplepts, one of whom demanded that Sunny, "Pee on my face - right now!"

In an effort to get a fake I.D. from a drug dealer, Sunny and lipstick lesbian Lupe argued over whom would "suck his dick" for the counterfeit card. 

Lupe: "What? You can't suck his dick. I'm gonna suck his dick."
Sunny: "Let me sucnk his dick!"
Lupe: "No, let me suck his dick!"

Lupe shared that Sunny masturbates on the regular, "[...] you spent the whole weekend doing flash cards and diddling yourself as usual." And Kuhoo Verma shared with Buzzfeed that her character Sunny reminded her of herself in middle school:

"I looked to 'middle school Kuhoo' and looked to, like, how she navigated the world and felt such awkwardness and weird sexual shame [...]"

Lastly, Plan B is a Hulu Original, an American High film ("Embrace the R-rated reality of high school"), thus far, the film has 100% Tomatometer from 26 film critics on Rotten Tomatoes, despite the fact that the film has a 2021 date, it's considered one of the Best Comedy Movies of 2020, and Emma Specter of Vogue opined: "Plan B Is the Sex Positive Buddy Comedy I Needed as a Teenage Girl" (May 28, 2021)
