(Over) Sharing for Likes & Followers: Influencer Morgan B. Cohen

(This post is an excerpt from the manuscript of the, God willing, forthcoming book Oversharing for Likes & Follows: The Sex Lives of Influencers & Celebs.)

The influencer Morgan B. Cohen has 251K followers on Instagram and 1.6M followers on TikTok. Per Famous Birthdays, Morgan is a 28-year-old California native who: “[...] began her career as a social media influencer by posting modeling photos on Instagram in 2019.”

About a year ago (2025), a Redditor posted “Morgan b cohen doesn’t know how to keep certain things to herself” with the caption: “Girl you don’t have to share everything”. The post included a TikTok from Morgan, where she (over) shared that she has an orgasm before socializing. Why? Well, Morgan prefers not to be horny when she socializes. After Morgan is able to “get off” before going out, in addition to not being in the mood, she’s “the most confident”, and she doesn’t think about flirting, which allows her “to focus on just having fun”. Morgan shared,

“What I'm about to say is going to freak some people out, and you're going to say, "Oh my God, you couldn't waterboard me to say this.” But I think everybody should have this under their belt [...] What makes me the most confident is I get off before I go out, because I don't want to go out horny. I don't want to go out thinking about men; having to flirt [...] I want to focus on just having fun with my friends. And since I started doing this, I have had the most fun nights ever [...].”

In addition, Morgan said that she has been having life-changing orgasms before socializing for a year; thus, by using this “awesome” lifehack, Morgan’s social life has changed for the better, she has “been extremely happy”, and she has “made beautiful relationships not based on sexual things”. Consequently, Morgan encouraged her thousands of followers to, “Try it out.” Morgan shared,

“I have done this for the last year. It has changed my life. It has changed my social life, and I have been extremely happy every time I go out, because I've made beautiful relationships not based on sexual things. And when I used to go out, it was like I want to flirt with someone. I want to have a fun time, but you don't need to flirt with someone to have a fun time, and you also don't even think about it when you are flirting with someone because you already got off, so you're like, ‘I don't really care if this goes anywhere.’ It's awesome. Try it out. Let me know.”

It turns out that Morgan first advised her followers to masturbate back in 2023 on the “... sex talk” episode of her podcast “The Morgan B Cohen Show” (Sep 12, 2023). During the podcast, Morgan (over) shared twice that she intriguingly “started watching porn at a young age”, which she found enlightening. Due to consuming porn, Morgan became a “very visual person” who desires to see “everything”. Accordingly, after Morgan said “masturbation is not a weird thing” and that it’s “such a healthy thing to do”, she encouraged her listeners to gaze into a mirror while masturbating, which she described as “hot” and “amazing”. Morgan said,

“I started watching porn at a young age, just like everybody else [...] I didn’t think it was funny. I was very much intrigued [...] It can give you amazing ideas.”

“I want to be able to see everything. I’m a very visual person. That’s because I started watching porn at a young age [...] I hate having sex in the dark [...] stop having sex in the dark.”

“Another thing to make yourself feel comfortable with your own body, and it will get you out of your mind is [Masturbation]. Masturbation is not a weird thing [...] it is such a healthy thing to do. Look at yourself in the mirror while you do it and really admire your body [...] to be honest, it’s hot, it’s amazing and it really makes you feel so comfortable with yourself [...] So go in the mirror when you’re home and just touch yourself, and it will really change your perspective on yourself.”

Additionally, Morgan lost her virginity at a “very, very” early age as well, but she has no regrets, and she insisted that it was the “right” thing to do. Morgan shared,

“So I lost my virginity at 14 [...] And I know 14 is a very, very young age to lose your virginity. But you know, when it’s right, it’s right. And I lost it to someone that was incredible [...] So, when it’s right, it’s right.”

In terms of orgasms, Morgan related on the podcast that “an orgasm is mental and physical, but it’s mostly in your mental [sic].” What’s Morgan’s evidence? It turns out that Morgan has had a lot of orgasms while dreaming. Morgan shared,

“The reason I say it’s mental is because I have had so many orgasms in my sleep from dreams and that’s when I realized it was all a mental thing.”

And lastly, to the dismay of Muslims and (ultra) [orthodox] Jews, Morgan encouraged her followers to be promiscuous. Morgan urged, “Do whatever you want. Have sex with as many people as you want [...] Do what feels right in the moment [...] Just enjoy your sex life,” which may not be surprising when one considers that Morgan shared that she has “had so many experiences”, but with the caveat that “[...] oral sex is more intimate than having sex.”
