Famous Ephebophile: Silvio Berlusconi

I wrote in The Allure of Nymphets about Silvio Berlusconi, the former Prime Minister of Italy, who was indicted for hiring Karima el Mahroug (a/k/a Ruby Heartstealer), a seventeen-year-old belly dancer and alleged prostitute. 

Berlusconi denied having sex with Ruby, but he did admit to giving the teenage Heartstealer tens of thousands of euros out of the kindness of his heart. 

I wrote that Berlusconi’s comment and actions are revealing, because, in general, middle-aged men don't give large amounts of money to nymphet belly dancers as charitable contributions. Middle-aged men generally give large amounts of money to nymphets because they want to have sex or as a gift after they have had sex - but rarely as charity. Since, Berlusconi admitted that he did not have sex with Ruby, then that would imply that he gave her the money because he desperately wanted to have sex.

Well, whatever really happened, Berlusconi was recently sentenced by three female judges to seven years in jail and banned from holding public office . (Berlusconi did not have a chance of winning that case. Nobody hates ephebophiles more than middle-aged women and teen boys.)

The BBC reported: "This judgement will have no immediate, practical impact. It was only the verdict of a lower court. Appeals against it could go on for years. Even if the sentence was eventually confirmed, a man of Mr Berlusconi's age would be extremely unlikely to go to prison for crimes like these in Italy."

Ironically, the legal age of consent in Italy is 14. It's 16 if one has some influence on the teen (e.g. Her teacher). But if one pays for sex with a nymphet, she has to be at least 18.
